United Northland Republic is an Islam Country located in Asia with Norlin City as it Capital City and Administrative Center. Islam is the Official Religion in the United Northland Republic with the Sunni Denomination, the Percentage of Muslims in this Country reaches 79% consisting of 76% Sunni and 3% are Shia, while the rest are Christians and other Religions. Northland Dinar is the Official Currency of this Country printed by the Northland Central Bank. The country is known for its Total Islamic Control, Mixed Economy between Islamic Socialism and Capitalism, Sharia and Zakat-based Finance, and Islamic Multi-Party Democracy. This country rejects all forms of Secularism and Liberal Democracy. The calendar system officially used in this country is the Hijri Calendar or Islamic Calendar which is currently in the year 1447 Hijri.

This country is state member and part of United Ummah, the most powerfull Islamic alliance in Orbis World.

Any offensive attacks and declarations of war against this country will face a counter-attack from the United Ummah and decisive action from the Military Forces of Northland.

The Government System is officially designated as Federal Theocratic Islamic Republic with a Democracy Index reaching 4.12 and is classified as a Hybrid Regime

Government Structure🏛️

The Federal Constitution of the United Northland Republic is the Basic Instrument that determines the Government and Political System of this Country, the Constitution regulates the Distribution of Powers of each Branch of Government, regulates the Role of Islam in the State, and regulates the Relations and Powers between the Federal Government and Subordinate Administrative Divisions. 

The Federal System in this Country is defined as a Centralized Federal where the Federal Government holds higher Power and Sovereignty than the Provinces, while the Provinces still have Autonomy as stipulated by the Constitution and are Semi-Autonomous. 

Executive Branch🖋️

The Supreme Leader or officially Supreme Federal Authority of the United Northland Republic is the Head of State and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Military Forces of Northland.

The Supreme Leader is the Highest Political Office and First-in-Command in the Political System and the Highest Spiritual Authority in the State.

The role of the Supreme Leader is.

1. Head of State: is the Public Persona and Main Representative of the United Northland Republic in Foreign and International Affairs.

holds the Highest Authority over Foreign and Domestic Affairs.

2. Supreme Commander-in-Chief: holds the Highest Authority to control the Military and Strategic Defense Policy. has the authority to declare war and determine peace offers.

3. Spiritual Leader: holds the Highest Islamic Religious Authority in the United Northland Republic and guides all Muslims in the Country. he has the authority to decide Fatwas and religious policies.

The Supreme Leader is appointed by the Council of Experts for a lifetime term with 2/3 of the Votes but can be dismissed in Extraordinary Cases by the Council of Experts with 80% of the Votes of all Members.

The role of the President in this country is.

1. Head of Government: is the Main Administrative Leader in the State and manages daily Domestic Policy and Administration.

leads the Meetings and Operations of the Council of Ministers.

2. Second-in-Command: is under the Supreme Leader and holds the Second Highest Authority in Political Power, replacing him if the Supreme Leader is temporarily absent. becomes the Chief Advisor to the Supreme Leader.

The President is elected through a Presidential Election held every 5 years nationwide but Candidates require Initial Confirmation from the Guardian Council.

The Vice Presidency or officially Vice Presidency of the United Northland Republic is the Collective Deputy Head of Government and the Third Highest Political Office in the United Northland Republic.

They all is the Third-in-Command in the Politics of the United Northland Republic.

The Vice Presidency is divided into 10 Ex Officio, namely.

1. First Vice President: is the Main Office that provides Advice and Consideration to the President on many things and led the Vice Presidency, though this office just primus interpares (first among equals).

2. Vice President for National Affairs: is an Office that provides Advice and Consideration to the President on Matters or Decisions related to Internal and National Affairs and advises the President on National Policy.

3. Vice President for Foreign Affairs: is an Office that provides Advice and Consideration to the President on Decisions and Policies regarding Foreign or International Affairs, especially relations with Alliances.

Vice President for Technological Research and Scientific Affairs: is an Office that provides Advice and Consideration to the President on Technology Affairs and those related to Scientific Sciences. he also provides advice when the President takes a Policy on the Development of Technology and Scientific Research.

The Vice President is elected together with the President through the Presidential Election every 5 years and he also requires initial Confirmation from the Guardian Council.

The Council of Ministers or officially the Council of Ministers of the United Northland Republic, is the Federal Cabinet and the Main Executive Organ in the Government.

The Council of Ministers is chaired by the President as Head of Government.

The Council of Ministers consists of 45 Federal Ministries with each Ministry led by a Minister together with Deputy Ministers and Secretary of the Ministry who are there to assist him.

Each Minister, Deputy Minister, and Secretary of the Ministry is appointed by the Supreme Leader unilaterally but the President can nominate candidates or provide advice.

The functions and roles of the Council of Ministers are.

1. Advisory Role: providing Advice and Consideration on Policy or Action to the President and Vice President.

2. Executive Functions: carrying out Executive Functions Collectively under the leadership of the President.

3. Policy Implementation: implementing and implementing policies under the direction of the President and Vice President.

Legislative Branch📜

Parliament or officially Parliament of the United Northland Republic is a bicameral legislature and is led by the Speaker of the Parliament who is elected through a plenary election in Parliament from both houses.

Currently, Muhammad Ghadafi Ghalibaf is the current Speaker of the Parliament who has served since 1441 Hijri.

Members of Parliament are designated as Members of Parliament (MP) and the requirements set to become Members of Parliament are, namely.

1. Aged 25 years and over

2. Native-born in Northland

3. Sunni Muslim

4. Minimum high school education

Candidates for Members of Parliament who wish to participate in the Parliamentary Election require confirmation from the Guardian Council.

The functions and roles of Parliament are, namely.

-Legislative Functions: Parliament carries out legislative functions nationally such as writing, revising, or abolishing laws, enacting legislation, and other functions.

-National Representation: Parliament carries out its duties to represent all levels of society and regions throughout the country at the national level and ensures that every interest has been considered.

-Oversight Function: Parliament carries out its function to oversee the performance and policies implemented by the Federal Government.

-Motion of no-confidence: when the performance of the Federal Government is considered poor and disappointing or controversial, Parliament can pass a motion of no confidence in the President, Vice President, certain officials, or the entire government. This requires 2/3 votes from both houses.

Parliament has 2 chambers as a bicameral legislature, namely.

1. House of Senate: is the Upper House of Parliament and is led by the Speaker of the Senate, currently, and the position is held by Abdullah Abdul Ar-Rasyid since 1446 Hijri.

consists of 224 Senators and they are elected through Parliamentary Elections every 5 years with the First-Past-The-Post Election System.

The roles and functions of the House of Senate are, namely.

-Regional Representation: representing and defending Regional Interests in various Provinces at the National Level.

-Budget Confirmation: The Annual Federal Budget submitted by the Government requires Confirmation from the Senate.

-Second Voting: Any Bill or Legislation that has passed the First Voting Process in the House of Representatives must require a Second Voting Process in the House of Senate.

-Oversight on Regional Government: carrying out supervisory duties on the Performance and Policies implemented by the Regional Government.

2. House of Representatives: is the Lower House of Parliament chaired by the Speaker of the House, currently held by Mohammed Gholam Al-Malik since 1446 Hijri.

consists of 770 Representatives elected through Parliamentary Elections every 5 Years, together with the House of Senate, however, the House of Representatives is elected through the Semi-Proportional Representation method.

The Role and Functions of the House of Representatives are, namely.

-Public Representation: representing the interests of all levels of society and representing public aspirations in Parliament and considering them in legislation.

-First Voting: Bills or legislation that have been proposed will go through the First Voting Process in the House of Representatives.

-Oversight on Federal Government: carrying out the task of overseeing the Performance and Policies implemented by the Federal Government.

The Council of Experts or officially Council of Experts of the United Northland Republic, is an Islamic Deliberative Body in the United Northland Republic and a Legal Expert Body that exists simultaneously with Parliament. This Council holds Legislative and Judicial Powers simultaneously and consists of 180 Members consisting of Legal Experts and Ulama.

Members of the Council of Experts or also known as Councilors, are elected through the Council of Experts Election which is held every 8 years and is elected through the First-Past-The-Post System.

The current Chairman of the Council of Experts is Mohammed Frederrick Lawson who has served since 1436 Hijri.

The requirements set to become Councillors are, namely.

1. Aged 35 Years and Over

2. Native Born in Northland

5. Memorize 30 Juz of the Qur'an

6. Minimum Education D4/S1

The Functions and Roles of the Council of Experts are, namely.

-Religious Authority: carrying out the Islamic Religious Authority in the State together with the Supreme Leader and overseeing all Government Policies so that they remain in line with Islam.

-Oversight Role: overseeing every Action of the three Branches of Government and ensuring that it remains in line with Islam.

-Third Voting: after the Bill or Legislation has successfully passed the Second Voting Process in the House of Senate, it then requires a Third Voting Process in the Council of Experts.

The Guardian Council or officially Guardian Council of the United Northland Republic, is the Administrative Judicial Assembly in Northland and exists together with the Council of Experts. This council exists to oversee the General Election and oversee the Performance of Parliament. This council also provides Advice and Consideration to the Supreme Leader.

This council has 60 Members and Members of the Guardian Council are appointed by the Supreme Leader with Advice ans Consent from Council of Experts.

The current Chairman of the Guardian Council is Abu Hanafi Al-Hasad since 1436 Hijri.

The requirements set to become a Member are, namely.

1. Aged 32 years and over

The Functions and Roles of the Guardian Council are, namely.

-Advisory Role: provide Advice and Consideration to the Supreme Leader on Policies and Actions to be taken.

-Constitutional Guard: safeguarding the Constitution together with the Constitutional Court and ensuring that Government Actions remain in line with the Constitution.

-Election Oversight: overseeing the course of the General Election and providing Confirmation to Political Candidates who will participate in the General Election.
