A full air force, and sizable armored reserves are maintained, to be quickly expanded in wartime. No gun control laws exist in the country, arms and ammunition are provided by the government, and can be freely owned and carried without restriction.  The country avoids wars and within the confines of international alliances, practices armed neutrality.
