The Nation of Kaniva started as an island in an unknown part of the world. The people of Kaniva were happy island dwellers until the Great AquaTech Wars erupted and almost destroyed the island. One warrior named Chatham rose through the hardships of war to become Kaniva's fearless leader. Chatham vowed that the nation would get its revenge on the armies of AquaTech (now known as the NM Forces) for nearly destroying their homeland. Chatham formed a unified army, using dedicated warriors (some of the cities are in their honor) to defeat the armies of AquaTech and drive them from the island. As the years went by, the island turned into the strong nation that is in existence today.
