Official nominations for GW20
In catching up with the times I'm moving the traditional war naming threads to be done here in game as much as possible. Also based on community feedback I plan to move onto voting after about a week instead of waiting for the end of the war. Otherwise, the process will be largely the same as it has been in the past when this was hosted on the forums.
To summit a war name suggestion reply in the comments with the name in blocks quotes. As seen below. You may submit up to 3 suggestions. Please remember that these names reflect the community and are held to a much stricter standard than normal commentary. So no profanity, toxicity, and also no literal sentences there is a character limit. After about a week I'll pull all the suggestions from the replies and after a short review by the mod team will set up an official poll.
Example Submission:
The Laggy War
Edit: Due to high volume of suggestions it will likely be necessary for myself and staff to exercise some discretion in only putting a few of the best names from a certain theme in the vote. In other words if there are 3 dozen names that amount to ‘The Christmas War’, only a few of those iterations will make it to voting. This is to help shorten the voting process and hopefully prevent needing excessive numbers of voting rounds to reach a consensus. Also, I have spoken to Alex and he has confirmed that he will not be able to get polls into the bulletin module in time for the vote on this war. So in all likelihood the vote will occur on the official discord.
Finally the Cutoff for new suggestions is 11:59 PM Thursday EST.

The Christmas War
Big Black Clock
Incursion into the Mysterious Oasis.
Also naming wars before they're done seems like a bad idea. It's like naming a book based solely on the first page or the first chapter.
Feared Scramble
How about something cool, weird, and mysterious.
>>> The Nulnahick War
I’d actually like to give it a weird cool name instead.
The Nulnahick War
It's the most wonderful war of the year
