On June 6, 2025, a bold new chapter began as Oduduwa declared independence from Nigeria.

This historic moment was the result of years of peaceful activism and cultural reawakening, led by iconic figures like Chief Alade Ogunwusi, activist Mama Folashade Oyekan, and music legend Dapo “D-Storm” Adebajo. United by the dream of a sovereign Yoruba nation, they inspired millions.

From day one, Oduduwa fused ancient heritage with modern ambition. With Odu as its smart-tech capital and Lagos as its economic heart, the republic quickly prioritized innovation, infrastructure, and education rooted in both tradition and cutting-edge science.

Oduduwa National Army (ONA)

The Oduduwa National Army is the land-based military force of the republic, known for its discipline, 

strategic acumen, and deep cultural symbolism. 

Oduduwa Air Command (OAC)

The Oduduwa Air Command serves as the aerial defense wing, equipped with cutting-edge aircraft for reconnaissance, defense, and 

logistics.

Oduduwa Royal Navy (ORN)

The Oduduwa Royal Navy protects the nation’s maritime interests, patrolling coastal waters and vital trade routes.
