The United States of Arcania is a developed, federally administered Parliamentary Republic located on the continent of Arcania. Its government operates under a tripartite structure: the Parliament as the central authority, the Presidente and Vice Presidente as executive representatives of the public, and the Supreme Leader as the symbolic embodiment of parliamentary sovereignty.

Government Structure

Parliament: Holds legislative supremacy, issues national policy, and enforces constitutional oversight.

Supreme Leader Baldwin IV: Symbolic and strategic representative of Parliament; serves as guardian of national continuity and legitimacy.

Presidente Dominic Vale Jr.: Leads domestic governance and policy implementation on behalf of the public.

Vice Presidente Jauquan Connor: Supports regional representation and civic integration initiatives.

History

The first Presidente, Dominic Vale, was known for his extreme rhetoric and rapid mobilization of national resources. His leadership was instrumental in transforming Arcania into a regional power within just 20 days of its founding. Vale’s legacy would later influence his son, Dominic Vale Jr., who currently serves as the fourth Presidente.

The second Presidente, Jaquan R. Connor, oversaw a major constitutional shift, transitioning Arcania from a Federal Republic to a Parliamentary Republic. This change redefined the balance of power, placing legislative supremacy in the hands of Parliament while preserving executive representation through the Presidente and Vice Presidente.

During the brief tenure of Alex Rodriguez, the first elected Democrat, political tensions escalated. Rodriguez was impeached by Parliament after allegedly threatening to consolidate power into a dictatorship. His removal led to the election of Dominic Vale Jr., a Republican successor who restored public confidence and initiated sweeping cultural reforms.

Under Vale Jr.’s administration, the office of Supreme Leader was formally established as a symbolic and strategic extension of Parliament. The Supreme Leader, currently Baldwin IV, represents the institutional authority of the legislative body and serves as its guardian. While the Presidente retains the constitutional right to propose impeachment of the Supreme Leader, such action must be formally processed through Parliament—a procedure considered politically complex and rarely invoked.

Vale Jr.’s tenure has been marked by high approval ratings, national unity, and cultural investment, including the launch of the Arcanian Football League (AFL). His administration continues to operate within a framework of quiet diplomacy, with unconfirmed ties to the New World Order of Orbis.

Military

The Arcanian Armed Forces serve as the unified defense and strategic deterrent of the United States of Arcania. The military is constitutionally led by the Presidente, who holds supreme command over all branches and strategic operations. Parliament retains legislative oversight, including control over defense budgets, declarations of war, and structural reforms.

The Supreme Leader, while symbolically tied to parliamentary sovereignty, only assumes military authority under exceptional circumstances—specifically if the Presidente is assassinated or if Code: Fallen Eagle is formally triggered. This protocol is classified and rarely invoked, requiring parliamentary consensus and emergency validation.

Branches

Arcanian Ground Armed Forces (AGAF) Also known as the Arcanian Black Eagle Force, responsible for land-based operations, territorial defense, and ground mobilization.

Arcanian Navy (AN) Nicknamed the Arcanian Sea Talons, the Navy secures both the West and East Arcanian Oceans, maintaining carrier groups, submarine fleets, and coastal defense systems.

Arcanian Air Supreme Forces (ASF) Known as the Arcanian Dark Eagle Forces, this branch manages aerial defense, strategic bombing, and high-altitude reconnaissance.

Arcanian National Guard (ANG) A reserve and civil support force activated during domestic emergencies, natural disasters, and internal security operations.

Arcanian Defense Corps (ADC) The ADC serves as the strategic and intelligence backbone of the military. It oversees advanced weapons systems, cyber operations, and classified defense programs. The ADC holds direct command over the Arcanian Intelligence Agency (AIA), which manages foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, and covert operations.
