A country that was formed on January 1, 1992, just right after the collapse of the Soviet Union. A new socialist nation thriving to be one of the self-sufficient & self-reliant nation. Sargonia is in the midst of political, social and economic transformation from very conservative to more liberal and democratic way.

Last September 30, 2022, the National People's Assembly initiates a countrywide survey, a total of 855,070 citizens were surveyed. The survey aims to determine if the government should reform into a more democratic rule or will keep the status quo. Eighty-eight percent (88%) or 752,461 citizens voted for a new and democratic government, specifically, in a democratic presidential parliamentary form of government.

On December 30, 2023, the government issued a national referendum (legislative referral) for the public to formalize the voting. A solid 2,016,540 votes (94%) out of 2,145,256 total voter population has spoken. The government should be reformed to a republic, in a democratic presidential parliamentary form.
