Some Context

Wahkidolia is a fictional nation set in the eastern part of Mozambique, although the real nation of Mozambique still exists the two are bitter rivals.

The United Kingdom of Wahki and Dolia is a Constitutional Monarchy controlled by His Majesty Campbell I and his parliament.

Wahkidolia still holds much of it's apartheid and misogynistic policies, the senior government is almost entirely made up of white males and only married men and women with owned property are allowed to hold positions in government and vote in elections. Adultery in government is a capital offense and is punishable by death and only citizens have the right to justice and exemption from torture. Vagrancy, petty theft and debt are punishable by forced workhouse labour.

The history of the United Kingdom of Wahki and Dolia traces its origins to the colonial era, when a British ship, navigating the waters around the Cape of Good Hope, stumbled upon a stretch of land that had remained unclaimed by the Portuguese. Recognizing the region’s strategic and economic potential, the British initiated contact with the local Dolian Kingdom, offering firearms in exchange for valuable metals. With British support and superior weaponry, the Dolian forces gained a decisive advantage over their Wahki and Shawi rivals, securing dominance in the region. However, this newfound power came at a great cost—following their victory, the Dolians submitted to British colonial rule and ushered in an era of oppression and suffering for the Wahki people, many of whom were forced into slavery.

For centuries, Muslim traders in the region played a significant role in the trafficking of Wahki prisoners, criminals, and rebels. This sustained interaction contributed to the gradual spread of Islam in the northern territories of what would later become Wahkidolia. Meanwhile, under British oversight, the Dolian-controlled protectorate grew in economic and political importance, eventually becoming fully integrated into the British Empire in 1901. Despite its rich resources and strategic significance, Wahkidolia remained one of the last colonies to seek independence from Britain.

By the 1980s, the now-liberated Wahki people, long marginalized under Dolian rule, began to consolidate their political and military strength. Under the leadership of Nana Tutu Kulumi, they established the Wahki Power Party (WPP), a powerful nationalist movement that sought to assert Wahki dominance and challenge Dolian authority. Over the following decades, the WPP engaged in a series of cold conflicts, resisting Dolian control and advocating for greater autonomy. However, as Kulumi’s health deteriorated in the early 2000s, fractures began to appear within the movement. Radical factions emerged, diverging from the WPP’s central leadership, and escalating tensions across the region. This instability ultimately erupted into the Wahki-Dolian Civil War, plunging the Democratic Republic of Wahkidolia into a prolonged period of bloodshed and chaos.

Amid the conflict, the figurehead ruler known as the "King of the Europeans"—a title once symbolic of colonial influence and aristocratic decline—faced increasing opposition. Bernard Gutiérrez-Dulzburg Schuller, the incumbent monarch, had originally secured his position through vast wealth and trade networks, but as war ravaged the region, his subjects grew disillusioned. With dwindling profits and escalating unrest, Schuller was eventually overthrown and replaced by Campbell I of House Stephen, a leader with a formidable military background.

Campbell, who had studied warfare and strategy at the University of Wickerton before rising to the rank of captain in the Dolian military, gained fame for his decisive victory along the Kayima River. In this crucial battle, Dolian militias, supported by exclusively white military regiments, successfully repelled the Wahki Power splinter factions, including the militant group MM3, and secured control over the northeastern territories. His leadership, marked by military prowess and strategic reforms, brought a measure of stability to the war-torn nation. Through a combination of diplomacy, conquest, and governance, Campbell gradually consolidated power, earning the epithet "The Unifier."

In October 2020, Campbell I formally established the United Kingdom of Wahki and Dolia, bringing an end to decades of strife and unifying the fractured territories under a single crown. His rule signified not only the triumph of Dolian leadership but also the beginning of a new political era—one shaped by the legacies of colonial rule, ethnic divisions, and the enduring struggle for dominance between the Wahki and Dolian peoples.
