OEPRDLB-           Radiation levels once again continue to raise higher and higher. Due to this fact, food prices have responded by raising in cost rapidly. This has been seen multiple times throughout the history of Orbis. Many nations are tired of not having enough money to buy food for their country, causing their people to starve. Because of this, we at the OEPRDLB urge all orbis governments to boycott any and all nuclear warfare for a period of 100 turns. The dramatic change as a result of the total dissipation will be astounding, and would likely cause food prices to drop anywhere from $60 to $100 at our current estimates.

From our Chief economist, Boris Yaskeg

It is unlikely that the radiation and nuclear weaponry will stop, as these keep the food prices high. Multiple powerful nations rely on these high-cost food markets in order to turn in huge profits. These nations buy food from small nations for what seems like a fair price, but then goes and sells the food at a highly inflated price, giving way for the incentive to drive food prices yet higher, partially through war, and partially through artificial cost inflation. Even if the artificial inflation was put under control, it doesn't stop these powerful nations from paying mercenaries to raise the radiation count, and therefore, food and their money indirectly. It is a dirty scam that could only be brought to light if there was extremely high boycott participation.

I swear to Dreemurr that these nuclear nations are absolutely greedy bastards- pardon me. Our state has even considered stockpiling food just to sell it at a cheaper price. Even if it comes at our monetary expense, it will provide for the new nations.

Look as the new guy on the block I’d say buy per turn in slight excess and as the saying goes buy high sell even higher. The economic impact of a small nation doing this is very little and gives some much needed cushion cash.

The scientists and students of Wolford University are tired of seeing radiation everywhere. This boycott could help not only food but other things too! The Kingdom of Daverberg approves of this boycott and I hope that other nations will too.
