LAST FUCKING EDIT TO THIS STUPID COMMENT: The following is no longer relevant as I have reworked my military info to actually be realistic (Although I still think that my reasons weren't the dumbest). Anyways I tried to keep my military info grounded by using this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People%27s_Liberation_Army_Ground_Force#Equipment_Summary
Bro who the heck be liking this bulletin 💀💀
Also, do tell me if this is unrealistic. And if it's about the howitzers or mortars, hear me out. I believe it is feasible. Hear me out. The Soviet Union produced 30.3 million rifles; 1.476 million machine guns, 516,648 artillery guns, 347,900 mortars; 119,769 tanks and self-propelled guns in WW2. They were in the war for only four years but cause you're gonna object if I don't, let's use the full 6 years for this.
516,648 artillery guns divided by six is 86,108. This was in the 40s. We're in the 2090s now. We're nearly in a new century. And the 86,108 figure is not counting mortars. So that's just field guns and howitzers and since field guns are basically unused in modern irl times and are replaced by howitzers, it's basically just for howitzers.
But the thing is, my nation is just not producing ANY tanks. Nor is it even producing machine guns. That means, the production that could be used for manufacturing those is used for other things, such as the howitzers. So if we go back to the Soviet stats:
So a combined 2,112,417. Divide that by six even though I think it should be four. 352,069.5. Even a third of that is more than the amount of howitzers my nation has produced.
Now you might say that machine guns are not on the scale of howitzers due to size. So let's only use the stats for the tanks and artillery guns, a total 636, 417. That divided by six is 106,069.5. WHICH IS STILL MORE THAN I HAVE.
Now consider this. The Soviet Union at the time started out with less people than my nation AND had to actually do the fighting and stuff. And my state is hyper militaristic and most factories and facilities are state-owned. We don't produce many consumer goods. It's as, if not more militaristic than North Korea or Eritrea.
So in conclusion, due to my nation's hypermilitarism, the technology available in 2095 to manufacture something from ninety years ago, the example I mentioned, and the fact that there's also no tank production so what would be producing tanks and machine guns is instead also producing howitzers, the howitzer figure is reasonable. Also my nation is Chinese and it's producing Chinese stuff from the 2010s, so it's not like the products are of the best quality. This isn't Leonardo Da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa in a day. This would be him drawing a line in a day.
Also yes, the Soviet Union was pushing itself to the limit due to Nazi invasion. But while my nation doesn't have that boost, it also isn't having the two massive debuffs of having to move all of the industry thousands of kilometres away while also having to spend most of the manpower actually doing the fighting cause my nation's at peace.
Also no giant population decline due to war. So my nation has one less buff but three less debuffs. So essentially two buffs.
And now you might say that my nation isn't the Soviet Union. But to that I say, similar conditions can lead to similar effects. Ig. I couln't think of any other arguments for that.
Sry if buff isn't a good term, it's the only one I could think of.
Last thing, mortars are man-portable. Yes, they're artillery. But just look at them. They're not on the same scale as a self-propelled howitzer. So this is really just about the howitzers. The mortars are. Well they're mortars. It's different.
If it's regarding the landmines. Apparently countries have these in the millions, so I do believe that the figure for my landmines is realistic.
EDIT: This was made when I had 40,000 something (Ik, ridiculous. What was I even thinking) written for howitzers alone. And 30,000 something for mortars)
Another EDIT: I got a new calculation. Modern China has 6000 howitzers. Modern China has 9000 tanks. Let's say that because of the armour and all the other intracasies, the effort of producing a tank could make let's say 2 howitzers. So that's 16,000 howitzers. Now consider this, yes my country is not all of China, however, remember that the gov is nearly a command economy with factories being mostly state owned and consumer products aren't manufactured alot so what do you think is being made instead? Besides, there are two other factors. This is the second, the government is run by the military, or rather the guy in charge of the military. Third, the wartime pressure. Countries at war produce more military stuff. Now yes, my nation isn't at war, however, the immense political and diplomatic pressure and the recent past and stuff, basically the same effect.
So I think, my number of howitzers is feasible considering no tanks are being produced and plus, it's not like these are very state of the art best newest stuff. It's stuff from the 2020s at best. And plus, the state literally has laogai labour camps and has an enormous amount of prisoners that are worked quite literally to death.
Also, I know it's kinda a jerk move to say this, but this --> https://politicsandwar.com/bulletin/id=38147/the-royal-kashmiri-defence-force-rkdf is fine sooooo
EDIT Again: Okay so he deleted his nation. Look the important part of that was that he had a number of tanks AND had 100,000 artillery pieces. Mine is like 44k, which is under half, and I have no tanks unlike him
Your stats are actually very realistic. The one thing I would change though is decrease active soldiers by 1 mil and that 1 mil to reserves.
Thx!
EDIT: Also, logistics personnel is counted as infantry for simplicity
