Luna cuts diplomatic relations with the Soviet Federation; support sent to Estoreasia

Reason for inaccuracies: the Soviet Federation has withdrawn the declaration of the Ajako Confederation as a terrorist state; for this reason, the Republic of Luna no longer considers itself to be on hostile terms with the Soviets. 

Due to the Soviet Federation's declaration of the Ajako Confederation as a terrorist state, the Lunarian Parliament has made the decision to cut all diplomatic ties with the Soviets. 

"Although it's unfortunate to end friendly relations between nations, we will not tolerate hostility towards the Ajako Confederation," President Aurelia Aquila declared. "As much as we seek to remain amicable, it seems to be, at this point, quite impossible. The Ajako Confederation is by no means a terrorist state, and there will be no support for a nation that considers our longtime ally one."

Although the Soviet Federation and Luna were formerly friendly, the Soviets' hostility towards Ajako immediately brought about a change in relations.

"It's frankly quite upsetting to see the way our allies have been decried and denounced as terrorists," Secretary of State Anastacia Kessler stated in an interview this morning. 

This change in diplomatic relations was also impacted by the Soviets' support for the People's Republic of Tania, a nation that has long been an enemy of the Republic of Luna.

Following Tania's recent attacks, the Republic of Luna has sent military aid to Estoreasia. The 23rd and 17th Wings of the Lunarian Air Force have been deployed, along with the 3rd Infantry Division and 6th Airborne Division of the Lunarian Army.

"War will not be engaged with Tanian military forces unless attacks on Estoreasia extend past Borneo," said Flynn Radcliffe, Commander of the Armed Forces of Luna. "As of right now, our troops have been deployed for defence, but if Tania chooses to grow even more hostile, we will not tolerate it."

Lunarian armed forces have additionally mobilized in case of an attack on Luna, Ajako or any other allied nation. President Aurelia Aquila declared "unwavering support" for the Ajako Confederation in a Feb. 22 speech in Arcadia.

"We as a nation will always stand by our friends and allies throughout the world. We will always give our best to protect the nations who stand by us," Aquila said. "Long live the Ajako Confederation."
