The North American Defense Pact

On August 5, 2079, a newspaper from the Chaos Insurgency revealed the nation's intent to invade pro-furry nations, including Luna, The Canadian Federation and other allies. Around the same time, tensions between Novaya Rimskaya Imperiya and Nova Mundus reached a peak, with a statement from Maximus Democraticus that a "super-weapon" would be used on Nova Mundus if the recent fascist revolution did not end in the near future, as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia sending troops into Nova Mundus to try and control the uprising. The new leader of Communist Britain also stated in a recent speech that "nuclear war is inevitable."

As a cold war is sparked across the East Coast, with each nation just waiting for someone else to make their move before it becomes an all-out war, the leaders of Dauchh Palki, The Canadian Federation, Democratic Republic of NA, Ganymede, Free People of North America, Furry Empire and Luna have agreed to create an optional defense pact between the nations.

Members of the pact have been preparing for a potential upcoming attack from the Insurgency or even a nuclear war between nations of the East Coast; Dauchh Palki and Luna have mobilized their troops and all members of the pact are prepared to defend each other against invasion and war. We hope that war will not break out, but in the event that it does, we will be ready.

Any North American nation will be permitted to join the pact.
