Breaking News: President Lincoln Establishes Anti-Biochemical Weapons Task Force

In recent days, global tensions have risen, and rumors of biological weapons being designed and deployed by multiple nations. Between intelligence regarding Hua Labs, Dreamistan situation in general, and the Bjern incident, the United Imperium has decided that it is of the utmost importance that the bioweapon threat be countered swiftly and efficiently. Following the initial reports of the Bjern incident, Bjern leaders opted to send infected individuals to La Punta in order to conduct joint research. The President ordered that a carrier strike group patrol the estimated location of the convoy at all times. This was done to prepare for containment of whatever was being transported without accidentally releasing the actual convoy's location.

However, it has become apparent that such measures are no longer sufficient in combating the spread of bioweapons. Z has reached multiple cities in Bjern and is causing anarchy and chaos in the streets of the suffering nation. While Covid Strain X was quickly stamped out thanks to combined efforts of the international community, Z and other bioweapons like it are rapidly taking over, and these WMDs are forcing nations like Igua-Sul to quarantine entire navies.

The President has decided that it is time to prepare the United Imperium for any potential biological threats that may arise. With unanimous approval from the NIEA, the President unveiled the Anti-Biochemical Weapon Task Force (ABWTF), and Major Colonel Deng Macarthur was selected to head up the operation. While actual members are highly classified, the makeup appears to be ten members of the NIEA, five members of Barracuda Squadron (the premier Naval Special Forces unit on Earth), five of the nation's top biologists, five of the nation's top chemists, and five analysts from the legendary Michigan Data Science Company.

While unconfirmed, the current objectives of the group appear to be: Establishing technological and scientific superiority over those who wish to use WMDs, setting the edge in rapid response and containment of biological weapons, being capable of locating and exterminating materials used in the creation of such biological weapons, and having the ability to defuse or obliterate such weapons at any moment in time at any place across the globe, as well as those individuals responsible for the creation of such weapons.

As tensions heat up and the biological weapon question becomes a more pressing matter, it has become clear that the United Imperium is now taking steps to become one of the frontrunners in the fight against biological warfare and bioterrorism.
