Operation Jungle Storm successful, but "Christmas Present" for Hua Labs results in severe miscalculation.

On a late evening on Christmas Eve 2073, La Punta with it's coalition has raided Dreamistan's Hua Labs in the outskirts of Sussy Baka Land. It was able to secure the building and safely collect or destroy the lab's equipment. La Punta ordered trucks carrying pathogens and pathogen making equipment out via large convoys of trucks and tanks. The building was cleared by 6:10 local time, just before the sun was supposed to rise. However, as equipment was being collected, army commander Gomez left Hua Labs a gift.

Hua Labs was ordered to be destroyed, in order to totally cripple, or at least stunt Dreamistan's ability to create biological weapons of mass construction. The building was filled to the brim with dynamite. At 21:26 on Christmas the explosives were detonated, but the explosion turned out to be far more powerful than was expected.

One of the scientists did their math wrong, and as a result, far more explosives were used on the Hua Labs facility than was necessary. The result was an explosion of epic proportions which one soldier captured on his mobile device. Unfortunately, there were some casualties with 300 Dreamistani casualties and 22 Puntan casualties.

Despite this hiccup, La Punta has still come out of this conflict with a negative casualty count. The reason is that Dreamistan's own civilians are choosing to accept the Puntan hand and are leaving the authoritarian Dreamistan. 470 of them have chosen to do so. Of course, testing will be done to ensure they are not spies of the regime.

Regardless though, this is both a tragedy, and an international embarrassment, we should not treat commander Bordan Gomez lightly for his failure to check with the scientists the math of the dynamite inside of the building. Extra insulting considering it was a scientist who messed up their math. Of course, the scientist will most definitely receive a severe reprimand.

Overall however, Operation Jungle Storm was at least a success, and La Punta will be transporting the equipment back home to run further tests on and verify it's threat that these weapons of mass destruction posed to the world.
