Grimm was born from the aftermath of the Collapse, during which the Germans had conquered the United Kingdom and taken a majority of the healthy male population back to the fatherland. This tragic event led to the collapse of the nation, and after a twenty year period of war between innumerable factions headed by ruthless warlords, cruel dictators, and cult leaders (just to name a few), a contingent of would-be soldiers and strict monarchists known as "The Keepers of the Crown" successfully routed a large band of raiders from the Palace of Westminster and made it their base of operations. Two decades have passed since that day, and that group of brave men have become the largest governing body in the United Kingdom, and they continue to grow under the strong leadership of His Majesty Pontifex Maladrin.
