After a brutal Civil War which lasted from 2018 to 2024, the capital city of Badama and some nearby settlements fell to fighters of the extremist Rhakid Organization. The city and other territories of the former Arakan Republic under control of Rhakid fighters, now essentially under constant martial law, political prosecution, public and private executions, intimidation, etc. Raihaan al-Haque, leader of the Rhakid extremists organization was declared the Emir of the newly founded state. 

The civil war would now enter a new age by October 25th, as a unified front by this point had been organized by remnants of the Arakan Armed Forces, some settlements of the country remaining under control by the New Arakan Democratic Front/Arakan Revolutionary Army. Heavy fighting continuing to be fought in many parts of the country, particularly in the South.
