Proclamation of the Loyalist Pact In a historic and unconventional summit held in Lépoldville, Congo, the Kingdom of the Kingdom of Gwynedd and the Governorate of the Congo, two bastions of modern day African colonialism, have came together to solidify there alliance under the banner of the ‘Loyalist Pact’. Signed on February, 13th 2099, the Loyalist pact marks a new power in Africa. That of the whites. That of the colonies. The Governorate of the Congo, led by Governor-General Sir Andrew Watson, is a hub of British colonialism and British loyalism in Central Africa. With a powerful and stable government, the nation has an ironclad belief in British nationalism and colonialism. Led by the infamous King William Cunedda of House Cunedda, the Kingdom of Gwynedd is a large nation on the Southern-east coast in Madagascar and the Horn of Africa in Somalia. It rules over 150 million souls, all under the belief of British nationalism and the Gwynnish Orthodox Church. Under the terms of the act which was signed in Lépoldville, Congo, the colonial power will support and defend each other in times of war and signal a new era. With respect to their homelands and large, military based nations, the Congo and Gwynedd are ready to define their interest and all who undermine their nation authority. Under the terms of the agreement, economic collaboration following similar ideas of protectionism and mutual benefit will also begin, however an effort to respect each nations economic sovereignty has been acknowledged. During the signing ceremony, delegates, diplomats and dignitaries, was a testament to Congonesse-Gwynedd relations and a new frontier for Africa. Long live King William Cunedda! Long live Governor-General Watson! Development of the Congo With funds pouring in from the Scots, the Britons and other nations, and amidst the bustling streets and markets of the Congo, a new wave of prosperity and development swoops the land and the nation sees unprecedented development under the stewardship of Governor-General Sir Watson. A $50,000,000 OBD loan has been accepted from the Atlantic Union, the sphere the nation is a part of, with a further $10,000,000 OBD loan which is set to be used for military spending. This money has also been sent to the already big agriculture, mining and manufacturing industries in the nation. Modern farming equipment and better training for farmers, agricultural efficiency and safety has rosen allowing for food security for the nation's growing population. Likewise, the mining industry has also been developed with the help of foreign investment with new mineral deposits being opened, fueling new economic prosperity for the Congo. Crackdown of gang-affiliated crime in the Congo; Operation Afurika With help from the Koreans and the Greenlandish, the bold and decisive ‘Operation Afurika’ has begun with aims to help remove gang affiliated crime within the Congo, in particular drug dealing, terrorism and human trafficking. Under the steadfast leadership of Secretary-General Lord Anton Kingsley I and Governor-General Sir Watson as well as that of Korean-Congolese diplomat and Colonel, Colonel Pong Young-Su and Greenlandish Chief of Military Staff and Lieutenant-General Martin Johan Broberg, the operation has been going smoothly. Far too long have crime syndicates and rebel groups run free within the jungles and arid deserts of the Congo, spreading fear and tension. Drug trafficking has destroyed communities, and with human trafficking affecting thousands of young women and children. Working in close tandem with the Korean SPG, renowned for their counter-terrorism and policing as well as close ally the Republic of Greenland, Operation Afurika has started and is already seeing immediate success. WIth the help of some 10,000 Korean special unit police officers who were sent down to the Congo and other countries, along with logistical and technological (e.g. drone attacks, cyber warfare) from Greenland, over 250 known criminals have been arrested within the last 2 weeks. With many drug dens, human trade links and terrorists destroyed and arrested, the operation is set to go for another few months. Long live British-Congo! |
