Complete and Utter Collapse of The Socialist Republic of The Melon (short bulletin)

As the British take Paris, most if not all of the Former Government is dead, killed by the Rebels. After that the British Empire offered a treaty to The Melon.

. Melon will become a capitalist parliamentary democracy 

. Britain will be given Melonese Cuba 

. Melon will exit the UEC 

. The Melons Sickle Class destroyer's will be ceded to the British Empire 

. Britain will pay reparations of 15 billion

The only one that was bothering was the one about Melonese Cuba, but after talking with Britain, the Melonese diplomats decided to accept the deal because of interesting reasons. It is confirmed by Britain that The Melon will be getting land soon, and we will "See why soon". After the diplomats had the conversation, they accepted the deal, bringing the end to communism in Orbis. Elections will be happening soon, Aithne Daughtery will be running. Aithne Daughtery has recently made a speech about how she will remake the economy and help the military be back to its former highs. The new name will most likely be either The French Royaume, The Republic of France, or The Republic of The Melon (the last one is unlikely). The flag will be changed to the new one. The Watermelon Post, a communist run news station has been demolished, while The Muskmelon Times will be renamed The Marsielle Times. Since there is only one official news station now there will be The Paris Post. The new nation which has sadly been forced out of the UEC has been looking for a new alliance, The two best options that they found were NoAN (Nations of Armed Neutrality) and GEDO. Down the line if it has permission from Britain it may rejoin the UEC, but currently that seems unlikely.

Anyways, The new Government is excited to know what new land that they will get will be. Maybe Benin? Maybe Nigeria? Maybe even Cuba back? 

Anyways, the government is looking to be welcomed in this new world.
