Rise in fascism / war with Melon

Recently, a newly created political party, named the British Nationalist Party (the BNP), have witnessed a rise in support, a trend that moderate parties deem "worrying and a threat to the British Isles". Led by Jonathan Goodman, the party has reached 5,800 members in their first 200 days of existence. The party utilises a tactic that capitalises off the population's hatred for various things like far-left groups and immigration. Jonathan was previously in the armed forces and served as a Royal Marine through multiple previous wars, including the marine invasions of Zullimanistan and Uchama. However, according to the MoD, he was discharged from the Armed Forces for the execution of surrendered enemy forces. In his most recent, and most popular, speech he called for the complete removal of immigrants from the British Isles:

"My fellow Britons,

We stand at a crossroads in our nation's history. Our streets are crowded, our housing prices soaring, crime is sky-rocketing and our once-thriving communities are transformed beyond recognition. High immigration rates have left many of our people, our British-born population struggling to make ends meet, thanks to the selfishness of foreign citizens. 

Let me be clear: Britain should be for Britons, for the dominant British race. Our ancestors toiled and made huge sacrifices to build this land into the envy of the world. It is our birthright, our heritage, and our duty to preserve it for our next of kin.

We are not hateful or racist for wanting to protect what is rightfully ours. We are proud. Proud of our history, our culture, and yes, proud of our dominance. Make no mistake, it was the British race that created the worlds largest empire, created the Western and civilised world, that shaped the very course of human history. We’ve won two world wars, conquered countless nations and still, to this day, dominate the world. But yet, we find ourselves marginalised in our own land, strangers in our own cities.

But no more. It is time to reclaim what is rightfully ours. It is time to put the interests of Britons first, to prioritise the needs of our own people above all others. We must vanquish the evils of mass immigration, restore order to our streets, and ensure that every British citizen is prioritised over the hateful immigrants who seek to destroy our culture.

Some may call us xenophobic but they fail to understand the simple truth: there is nothing wrong with loving your country, with wanting to protect your people, with believing in the inherent superiority of your own race. 

Join me, my fellow Britons, and reclaim our nation. We will rebuild the British Isles to reflect our traditional culture, history, power. We will never bow down to abhorrent forces who seek to undermine our nation!

Following a 32 day march, British and Melonese rebel forces have reached the major French capital of Paris. Throughout the journey, over 350,000 Melonese army personnel rebelled against the communist regime and accompanied the British forces. So far, the British Army have only suffered 1,100 casualties, the majority from guerrilla fighters still loyal to the current Melonese government. Since the invasion, the RAF have been running frequent air operations to aid the British forces. Reconnaissance and attack aircraft have begun regular patrols over France to neutralise any active SAM platforms. Additionally, using the newly integrated C.R.U.M.P.ET combat system, the Infantry can place 'digital markers' on enemy targets which share their location with every military unit in the area. The attack aircraft are then able to precisely eliminate enemy targets. Alongside this, transport planes and heavy-lift helicopters have been delivering Armoured cars and other transport vehicles to the plethora of British and Melonese rebel forces to accelerate the journey to Paris. Attack helicopters and fighter aircraft joined the Infantry to minimise any attempts to target British soldiers. 

The Ministry of Defence has announced talks with the commander of the French air force have been vastly successful and he has ordered the complete surrender of the airforce and air force personnel have joined the march on Paris.
