Why rp military sizes need to change

Military sizes in roleplay are absolutely outrageous and if you think otherwise, you are probably very misinformed about modern militaries. Some nations have the same amount of active soldiers as the population of Belgium and naval fleet's the size of the United States, The royal navy and France. I don't think I even need to explain why this is so hopelessly unrealistic. And admittedly, I am a prime example of this. I have 8 fleet's ffs; somehow I don't even have the most ships. I believe that is because over the years of bulletins, nations have strived to keep being one or two ships ahead of their fellow nations. After so many years now, it's gotten to a point where realism has been completely forgotten. Furthermore, because of the WW1 and 2 fanatics that are prevelant in rp, they have military sizes similar (but still significantly larger) to mid war Britain, USA and Germany. This logic can't be used anymore because back then, a dreadnought ship would cost a total of $7.50 and a packet of crisps. In the current day, most advanced combat warships cost upwards of 400 million and because of advances in population welfare, countries just don't have the budget to buy 50 warships in case they may one day go to war.

Unfortunately, I don't see this changing if nations remain with similar stances that I've witnessed through the past year. Players don't want to reduce their military size incase some unrealistic 11 year old may destroy their entire country in one bulletin. This is why I've decided to be the 1st to reduce my entire armed forces. I hope that my close friends in this game will also follow my lead and do the same. So please, I beg of you, comment below that you'll pledge to reduce your military size or make a bulletin announcing your new numbers. And if anyone decides not to, we can band together and collectively void them until they do change their military size. So please, join me and change roleplay into a more realistic, and fun, experience.
