HE'S BAAAAAACK: The United Imperium makes its official return to RP

September 29, 2022. The unofficial end of RP for the United Imperium. In Orbis, a decade of waiting. In real life, a full year. And with good cause. After all, the affairs of puny C5s, C10s, and C15s were of no concern to a nation of double, triple, or even quadruple their size. The affairs of Politics and War, the game itself? Simply more important to the United Imperium. And so, we watched on silently. Non-interfering. From the highs of our victory in the Dreamistan saga, to the lows of the Opal war, our RP history is decidedly storied. Decades in Orbis, years in real life, this is how the tenure of the United Imperium's story is measured. 

But all that could have been done was done. We etched our name into eternity by becoming the first nation to land on Mars. We won the first Orbis World Cup in 2073. Countless victories and accolades. And best of all, we were untouchable. After our victory against Dreamistan, there was no nation in rp which could possibly take us on in combat and survive. Safe in this knowledge, we chose to embark on a new era of Pax Americana. Peace. Rest. Prosperity.

We intended for it to stay this way. Watching from above. Unaffected. Unbothered. This was the plan until the message arrived. 

The plan has changed. The United Imperium has returned to take its position as the successor to the United States. Both the Holy American Empire (the vassal state to the Soviet Federation), and Beanstopia (who bizzarely picked a fight with the Soviets) claim themselves to this position. But we have incontrovertible evidence of the superiority of our position:

Of course, of the "successor" states to the USA that find themselves in the rp world, the United Imperium has been around for the longest time. Our story, the most illustrious. A legacy years (or in Orbis time, decades) in the making. But with the old guard affirming our position in this role (and not just the old guard, but Nukey himself), we are confident that we can maintain our position as guardian of the free world. In spite of that, we would like to maintain at least some semblance of peace on the American continent. We know there are many inhabitants of what is considered to be the Lower 48 in the real world. Our in-game lands are our rp lands, and we own all of the Lower 48. Therefore, in rp, we own all of the mainland United States, the Lower 48. 

Our in-game lands. However, to all of you who reside within the lower 48, I propose the joint-governance principle. This principle basically states that for most of those nations who reside within the lower 48, the United Imperium has no quarrel with you. You have worked hard to build your nations into what they are, and we obviously respect that. So we will respect, and not intefere with your land claims in the real-life United States of America. An example of this can be found with Caesar (a thank you to Caesar is also in order for pointing out this difficulty to me in the first place). Caesar inhabits the Southwest United States. We inhabit all of the mainland United States. But we will not interfere in any way with the governance of the lands of Caesar nor with their land claims. Effectively, it is their jurisdiction, even as the land is shared between us. If this is a grievance to anyone, do not hesitate to DM me either in-game or on the GENDT discord. My hope is that we can work out a solution diplomatically.

There are three nations to whom I am not going to be extending this offer of joint-governance and open borders. These are Beanstopia, The Holy American Empire, and Novaya Rimskaya. I encourage the leaders of all three of these nations to DM me in the game or in Discord so that we can work out a way to move forward anyway. 

Solumnodo Timeat Timoribus. It is our guiding principle. Tonight, we embody that principle as we make our offical return to rp.

A final note: expect a bulletin once every month or so. Most communications and transmissions on my end will be in the GENDT server and in other associated bulletin rp servers. Of course, you can expect me to be readily available for diplomacy or international relations, but I'm afraid that I cannot pump out high quality bulletins as quickly as Nukey or Soviet Federation anymore.
