Celebrating 1 year (and a month) of JI bulletins!

   Welp, I joined roleplay thinking "Hey Politics and War is a cool game, maybe I can make some sort of small nation here?" Here's the result, the Japanese Isles of today, a powerful naval nation with an uncertain future on the world stage as new nations get ever more anxious to topple the current world powers and replace them. Anyways, I have a few things to say about JI being in roleplay for... 395 days. First of all was JI's beginnings, as a Stratocratic state that was rocked by wars, economic stuff, and the war of Skill Issues. This era in my roleplay and nation was meh, and kinda cringe, as I was allied with Guoryou and RoDevs at this point of time. After the PCDP collapsed after the Skill Issues war, JI found itself at odds with RoDevs and Guoryou for many years. After this, a few more things happen, including the making of the modern JI flags of today by New Zukesa. It was also around this time when JI underwent a transformation from a Stratocracy to a Republic. And finally, the major change in JI happened after a massive war. where my nation had been thrown on the ground like a vase. The government JI today is soon to end, as I want to try new things. 

   So, Navies. JI has been called by many the Naval Superpower of the world. This is both true and untrue. JI has somewhat the largest navy by tonnage and the most technologically advanced/unrealistic navy by everyone's terms. But here's the thing. My ships are based of how I perceive the decade to be. So really my ships should be a benchmark for the decade. But anyways. I will probably start advancing my fleet again soon, as I want to start drawing again. 

   My favorite part of being in this community is meeting the people behind the nations, and it's how I've made most of my friends in PnW, including Luna, UKM/Austria, Britain, anyone that's an Idiot (if you know what I mean, which actual idiots probably don't understand ;p), and anyone I'm on good speaking terms with. Now for those people asking for a Nationalist JI, yes, it will happen in the next few months I just need to figure out how to do it. Making a nation nationalistic is more complicated than saying "This nation is nationalist now, yay." You need to get the right political climate, the right government situation, and figure out how to let your military allow it. .-. So, it might be quite a bit until JI goes nationalist for those that have been wishing it. But anyways. Here's some firework gifs.
