Elections to be held on 2089

THE EAST INDIA GAZETTE

Yeah, we will conduct elections as promised.

I, Bruhsam am planning to retire from politics, and me along with my general secretary mate Shafiq plan to leave this socialist state to the daughters and sons of our nation. Being an 80 year old male where the median age is 30 years and women form three times more than men, I am not enough representative of the masses. Plus, I need to care for my cat and my author-daughter Soomie. 

As 2089 comes, we will complete 5 years, and we do the election thing. How is the election done?

We won't have any political parties contesting in the elections. There will be 765 seats divided proportionally-wise in terms of population. All the candidates standing in the election will be independent of any political affiliation and must abide by the constitutional values. 

Alongside that, a presidential election will be conducted. Anyone can stand for presidential elections, required that they are a citizen of this nation and are above the age of 17 (weird but idk. dun worry tho the age of consent is 21 like the Indian government intended it to be).

For now, there are 5 most popular candidates:

Ratree Pranee Metharom: A former conservative, she later came to become a powerful socialist leader and the head of the 'All East Women's Worker's Association', the largest Worker union of Woman employees and the second largest worker union in the nation, after 'East India Trade Council' with 30 Million members. 

She believes in rapid industrialization and protection of peasant traditions. She is a clever diplomat, serving as the foreign minister for 9 years now. She is also adored by young teenagers, who 

Kazeya Takeyuchi: A former conservative, she chose social democracy while imprisoned in the Mandalay Jail. She came out a changed woman when she was released after 2 years from prison on the grounds of good behaviour. She is a strong leader, and has previously served as the prime minister of the nation for 4 years. 

She relates herself with the women of the nation for she is of the average age of the nation's population, and has a cult personality.

Major General Atsumi Aihara: An 81 year old woman, she wants to have a last straw in this election. She has a bigger cult of personality, and is known as the 'shadowmaker' for her shadow government politics. She is old though, and has lost the glamour she used to have back in times. 

She has served as the president for 10 years via a military coup d'etat. 

Kenny Lu: She is the youngest candidate of this election, with 17.9 years of age. A popular activist in her home state Kachin, she is closely tied with the Maoists and the Indian republicans (Republicans of India are not those who believe that "BIG GOVERNMENT BAD", Indian republicans are firm believers of social justice and eradication of casteism. They believe in the ideas of B.R. Ambedkar). 

Jenny Kom: She is a popular Tribal leader from Mizoram, and believes in the upliftment of Tribal population of the nation. 

She is widely regarded as a fierce warlord, who defends herself and the villagers of her panchayat against many inter-tribal conflicts. She is popular among tribals and many see her as a hope for tribal upliftment. 

Election dates:
