Two hundred days and counting!

So- it's been two hundred days (IRL time) since I started playing this game... and the unfortunate thing is that I started writing this before day-change, but now it's going to say 201 days. Let's just pretend that I'm writing this before that, though.

Out of RP: 

I created Luna on May 28, 2022.

I didn't know what I was doing, really. I joined Castle Camelot, the only alliance I could find that'd let me join without having Discord and promptly made bad decisions, landing myself with utter destruction as I was countered by the #1 alliance at the time. Then I made even worse decisions, spending $1,000,000 on a nuclear bounty on a nation with a score of 250 and embargoing all of Rose simply for countering me because I didn't know how the game worked... yep, not my proudest moment in P&W for sure...

Anyway, let's pretend that didn't happen. That's a bit embarrassing, now that I think about it.

Months later, I attacked a member of Night Remnant and was promptly countered. It may not seem like a good thing -- and for a while, it wasn't: Luna was nuked, I lost millions in money, military and infrastructure and was scammed out of $10 mil by one of the nations countering me (I got my revenge for that one through three separate raids later on!) But really, it was worth it.

Because one of the nations countering me was Nova Mundus -- I later read a bulletin by him about the war and the two missiles I launched (sorry about that, by the way!) and that's when I discovered bulletins. Of course, I knew they existed, but I hadn't been involved with them. I love writing, so I decided to try it out... that's why I'm here now!

So, yeah, I'm very glad for the amazing people here who have kept me going with bulletins and P&W as a whole, even when things aren't so great. I mean Rimskaya, Lapunto, Amerlca, Lunoria, RoDevs, Nukeya, Hunton, Eden's Gate, The Japanese Isles, The Canadian Federation, Dauchh Palki and many others who I'm not going to list here, but you know who you are :)

I'd just like to say this: the friendly comments -- wishing me good luck on stressful irl things, complimenting my writing, checking in when things go wrong, defending me in Discord arguments where I can't, of course, step in and defend myself -- all of that means a lot, and I appreciate it, so thank you :)

RP segment:

It has been six years since Lily Aquilla signed the official documents declaring Luna's 'rebirth' from a fascist dictatorial state to a thriving social democracy; three years since the tragedy of Dec. 2080 brought the nation to pieces and President Cressida Arpina rebuilt the falling nation; mere weeks since Luna begin to reconcile with old enemies -- we have faced many difficulties in our six years of existence in our current state, and yet we have much to celebrate.

Some feared that the Lunar democracy wouldn't even last five years; this is a true achievement considering some of our historical events. In celebration of this momentous event, Luna will be holding a massive parade in Arcadia and inviting other nations to send representatives to attend if possible.

We understand the tensions in Orbis at the time and hope that our celebrations remain completely peaceful; if nations are uncomfortable with attending, we understand that as well, but hope that our friends across the world will join us in celebrating this exciting milestone for Luna!
