Madizan Wal is located in Eastern Europe, with their capitol being Matzonia, and is known for having ended their civil war relatively recently. Afterwards, with the help of West European countries, they were able to establish a strong social democracy, with gubernatorial elections being held every 5 years (Next: June 6, 2115), and parliamentary every 2 (Next: March 15, 2113). Their recovery economically from the civil war remains slow, but is picking up. The fledgling nation is one full of pride for its people and all they've survived, a testament to their will to determine their own path.

Geographically stably-controlled territory, as of 08/31/2111:

Madizan Wal's influence extends much farther beyond its borders, both through occupation and special military operations. The country engages in regular 'raids' of nearby territories with no standing government, taking what they have left behind, to invest in their own citizens and search for lands to expand into.

The government recently joined SFR Yugoslavia, a democratic union of socialist states for mutual defense and assistance.

Parliament as of March 15, 2111:

The leading coalition is that of the PSP and the Green Party, with over half of the seats claimed. Both parties are social democracy oriented, and both have been popular since inception after the civil war. The Liberation party is a communist party, with popularity from more extreme left voters.

The RIS parties are "Required Independents" of the minority group they represent, to ensure at least proportional representation of ethnic groups in parliament.

The PPP and FP are right wing and centrist, respectively. The PPP focuses on deregulation of corporations and the FP on individual rights, guns and free speech alike.
