History: The Tang Clique was formed by bands of peasants dissatisfied with the local governments that were led by a charismatic, smooth-talking and shameless yet pragmatic scoundrel who turned them into an army loyal to him personally. With countless wars of expansion into the provinces, the Tang clique has expanded from Qinghai and Gansu into becoming western China. Outer Mongolia, Ningxia, part of Heilongjiang, and Shaanxi provinces were taken from the land of the shortlived Manchuria after it collapsed. It aligned itself with the Soviet bloc and formed a union with the Qing Empire. It declared war on the A&PSA but did not aid the Soviet Federation or Iberia in the war.

After the Qing Empire collapsed, the Tang Clique seized control of China, although had to give up Shandong to Victoria. After the Victorian puppet warlord, Lin Zian's, rule collapsed in Shandong, it went into the hands of a monarchist movement. Shortly after, republican rule was restored to the province.

Terrain: The land is vast and diverse. The mountains of the south-western lands rise high, the Himalayas and Kunlun. The deserts of the north-west and north-east, the Taklamakan and Gobi deserts respectively. The step plains of the north in Outer Mongolia. The Sichuan Basin and the mountains surrounding it. The generally flat land of Gansu and Shaanxi.

Lowest Valley: Tarim Basin, 760 meters
Climate: The land is varied. In the south-east in Sichuan, it is humid and subtropical. Whereas in the south-west in Tibet it is cold on the mountains and mild in the valleys. In the north-west in Xinjiang there is hot and dry desert. In the north-east in Outer Mongolia it is a very continental climate. In the central region of Gansu and Shaanxi it is mostly semi-arid, though with some southern parts of Shaanxi having a sub-tropical climate.
