Levine Imperial Senate Approves "Greener Emissions Act of 2070"

Following the pollution level spike in mid-2050s, the newly elected Imperial Senators of the newly elected Imperial Senate have voted unanimously in favor of environment-friendly innovations as part of Emperor Levi-Sama's plan for “The Sustainable Future Plan”. 

The Imperial Senate, held at gunpoint, have openly expressed disappointment towards the privately-owned monopolistic coal corporation Grampei Ouwl-Sawcks Inc. for not providing a greener alternative at procuring coal and dumping carbon waste at the Aylemaw Mountain Range. 

Since 2019, calls for environment-conservation by the pro-environmentalists led by Samuel Grenebick have failed to gain the favor of the Emperor. 

But everything changed when the empire's population during the mid-2050s quickly died out to combined health issues and !@#$ addiction. 

Unsurprisingly, the previously elected and completely unrelated National Senate refused to do anything about the economic problem. It was discovered that they were too depressed to do anything after the revelation done by quantum physicist La Verte Leinstein. 

La Verte Leinstein was also found out to be behind the invention of Nuclear Bombs, and was pointed out to be the impostor back in 1970. However, assassination attempts on Leinstein has failed, due to him being knowledgeable in time-travel. 

It took two decades for the Emperor to approve his own resolution, as he also fell victim to La Verte's revelation. 

Scientology is now banned indefinitely in the Empire of Levine.
