President Nechyporenko Declares War on Donbas

President Bohdan Nechyporenko has officially declared war on the Republic of Donbas, aligning Ukraine with the Sedrosian Empire in a military campaign. The announcement was after Donbas’s declaration of war on Victoria, an ally of the Sedrosian Empire after Donbas’s anger at the invasion of Melon, escalating tensions in the region to new heights.

President Nechyporenko’s decision to enter the conflict has shocked the nation after his previous assurances of neutrality, leading to doubt of his administration’s credibility and raising concerns about corruption within the government. This marks the third major corruption incident under Nechyporenko’s presidency, following previous scandals involving embezzlement and bribery.

After the declaration of war, there was a quick military response led by General Myroslav Hrytsaj, with newly purchased Badger Infantry Fighting Vehicles crossing the border into Donbas and the launching newly purchased missiles at suspected military bases. The sudden escalation of hostilities has caught many by surprise and has led to fears of a prolonged and bloody conflict. Two missiles have been launched so far, one targeting Sevastopol and another targeting Kharkiv. Soldiers march in after singing the anthem and having holy water sprinkled on them by priests.

Furthermore, Ukraine has announced a blockade of imports to Donbas that cross through Ukrainian territory, effectively cutting off vital supply routes and stopping imports that could support their defensive. The Sedrosian Empire has already blockaded the Black Sea, preventing ships from reaching Donbas and dramatically reducing their chance of winning.
