For a moment, the world stood still as the New Olzsytn Company detonated nuclear weapons on major population centers in the British and Sedrosian Empires. Then, it sprung into action. Retaliatory strikes were launched primarily by Ajako and Sedrosia with supplementary strikes carried out by the Europian Federation, Britain, Dagger Company, United Imperium, and Cascadia. Nuclear detonations from the Ajakoan military were largely responsible for the destruction of the Olzsytnian mainland as well as the overwhelming majority of their armed forces. The majority of the attacks on British and Sedrosian colonial holdings in Africa were repelled by Sedrosian and British forces. Disturbingly, however, the Dagger Company utilized biological weapons against civilian targets in Southern Chile, prompting multipartisan outrage in Congress and a demand from Secretary of State Katie Soldacher for an investigation into the handling of the situation. In spite of that, the war effort has largely been a success. However, the New Olzsytn Air Force continues to remain operational in West Africa. In an attempt to bring this last pocket of resistance down peacefully, Areulian peacekeepers have entered the region in order to negotiate with the Olzsytnians. Should such attempts fail, the United Imperium will launch opening salvos in an effort to completely wipe out the New Olzsytn Company once and for all. It should be noted that the New Olzsytn Air Force is flying old Imperium fighter aircraft. However, the lack of an implemented remote killswitch means that the Imperium will be unable to cause a remote shutdown of the enemy Air Force. 

In a rare showing of Congressional agreement, a two hundred billion dollar aid deal has been passed through the Legislature in order to provide aid to the nuclear cleanup, rebuilding, and development of Britain and Sedrosia, which Regan is expected to sign tomorrow morning. A larger aid deal is potentially on the way (rumors of a total of 500 billion dollars in aid for the two nations), but for now, we can expect to see major investments made by the Imperium into the reconstruction of Britain and Sedrosia. As the New Olzsytn Company falls, Britain and Sedrosia will surely rise from the ashes to retake their place on the world stage.
