I'm leaving, but Lapunto is not yet lost: The final 19 days

Hey y’all. For once, I need to make a reach out to the PnW community. I have had a storyline in mind ever since the conception of this nation. And I intend it to be the last storyline I do with Lapunto. Yes, you read that right. I plan to end Lapunto. Look, I love Politics & War, but I do not have time for it anymore. I have a life to attend to, and goals to pursue. However, I have built a legacy on Orbis. I do not want to fade into obscurity as I try to handle life and Politics & War at once. I do not want my nation to die a slow death from neglect. Instead, my wish is to give Lapunto a premature but proper end. Something that will ensure Lapunto’s story will be remembered until the last Esperial dies.
 

So how is this going to work? Well, I have already reserved special roles for Luna, Canada, and [Dreamistan(Sorry, I forgot what nation you're under now and didn't want to delay this announcement!]. But I need *your* help, the help of the international community of Orbis. My storyline will be open to the entire world, and is encouraged to be interacted with. However, if you do not wish, you do not have to be involved and due to the nature of my storyline, will be able to opt out even mid-story. How do I plan to get it going? Because of my conversion to the Baha’i Faith, my worldview has undergone radical transformation since I first founded Lapunto. That is not to say Lapunto has not been able to adapt, in fact, Lapunto as a nation might be more in line with myself now than me then, but I want to free myself of such an obligation as the PnW Community.
 

As of right now, I am celebrating Ayyam-i-Ha. See, something cool about us Baha’is is that we love seeing the number 19. This final month, which is the 19th month of the Baha’i calender, I will be fasting. After that 19th month of 19 days is over, I will celebrate Naw-Ruz, the Baha’i New Year for 181 BE. Which even more captivatingly, is the beginning of the 19th decade. I can turn down no such opportunity for rebirth. I am even luckier as this 19th month also aligns with such things like my spring break. Despite the constant hum of chaos in my life, this might give me enough breathing space for closing this chapter of my life.
 

I have been very vague for the past few months because I thought my hints were more effective. And I will still be vague for the meantime, but I will say that what I have planned is something that I think will encompass the spirit of “old” roleplay. Roleplay as it was in the 2070s, done with honor yet truly fantastical. I will also be combining some other aspects of roleplay, things that are outside “my” style, like 1st person, maybe behind the scenes stuff. There is a chance I return to Politics & War roleplay in the future, but that would likely not be under Lapunto. Because trying to catch up on years worth of history and social development at a time is not a sustainable model. Also because I would prefer a fresh start. So to clarify, in 2 days on the 29th, will begin the “19 days to Naw-Ruz.”

Further addition: So many of the original players have left roleplay and so many new ones have joined that many of you reading do not know the historical legacy behind Lapunto. Don't worry. Soon all the world will know.
