F.D.R. of Mundusia Proclaimed by Senate

Following QW-Korpal General George Zefvr's plans, peace was successfully negotiated between the natives via government intervention. A treaty between all the ethnic groups was signed just yesterday with minimum resistance from either side. With that, the natives' war is now considered done and all that is left is the destruction of the OLTM. Along with this, the Senate, as proposed by George Zefvr, has proclaimed the Federal Democratic Republics of Mundusia - shortened to F.D.R. Mundusia.

Native ethnic groups had been ununified for so long after the global balkanization, so this can be seen as a second chance of sorts. The ethnic lands of the respective ethnic groups have been give to them as promised, in turn for allowing urbanization, economic modernization, and being part of the Mundusian Federation. Ethnic leaders have all been invited to the Senate, as well as their faux-government members.

Beforehand, the lands of the ethnic groups were discussed by the natives themselves in the Senate. Minor conflicting claims were turned into autonomous entities of Mundusia. Such is the case with the Federal Democratic Autonomous Republic of Kaiseina. The Bainuk and Mankanya people in the area were claimed by both ethnic groups which could've broke the ongoing unity if not solved. Mostly, the decision to created autonomous entities of Mundusia felt "last-minute" as called by the general populace.

Despite this, everyone in Mundusia seems to like the idea of national unity including the native population. Political scientist Cazine Harlosst stated that "the construction of a sense of unity is paramount in a nation. Without unity, the nation in question will fall only into a deep pit of political instability and unability to cooperate with itself. This will only create a game, a system even, of fools and kings that do not wish to accept the reality of their situation. Therefore, Mundusia having unity with its other populace (natives) right now is trivial in the stability of the nation."

Many want to prevent the same thing that happened to the former Nova Mundus from happening to the current Mundusia. They see F.D.R. Mundusia as a real unifier with the people of Mundusia and the native population.

Also, the ethnic groups' strikes have been called off and factories are starting to produce regularly again. Native cooperation with the military has significantly helped against fighting the OLTM. Economic cooperation has also been present as well. This is, indeed, a new era for Mundusia as a whole.
