        Space above Orbis

A dark looming vessel flies into orbit, quietly destroying satellites. It's objective? Neutralize the inhabitants of Orbis and mine the planet for its core.

       Densetsu no Fune
I paced the engine control room, monitoring the nuclear reactors as the heat levels had been suspiciously high the last few weeks. Ugh. I have the worst job on this stupid ship. I continue my pacing, tuning out the activity around me- what the- a surge of power blasts through the ship, and while I’m watching… no way… I hear alerts going off on the ship. [Unknown Explosion Starboard]. Huh, does that have anything to do with my stat-
As Sasha Netsaka thought this, a strange ordinance, nothing Orbis had ever seen before impacted its back deck, shearing straight through and hitting a nuclear reactor. Sasha Netsaka, the Densetsu no Fune, and nearly all the ships around it were instantly vaporized in the ensuing explosion. The ship blew up with such a blast that it was felt in Korea and China. Overhead, an unknown thing sailed past in the sky, its bearing toward a larger ship it was sent to target in the puny world it was sent to.
       Nipponretto
As reports of the Densetsu’s destruction had struck across the globe, the Nipponretto and the Oddball Reactionary Strike Force lay at the ready, prepared for whatever it was that attacked the Fune. Despite all of this, the thing had passed undetected and launched a single bomb against the Nipponretto, crippling it and setting it on fire. The ORSF had struck back and had slightly damaged the signature but to no avail. The signature let off a blast of sound (don’t question it, idk how) and destroyed most of the escorts of the capital ships. The signature then destroyed the three battleships in rapid succession. It then hit the Nipponretto again, forcing it to ground in shallow water and burn. After three-ish days of burning, the Nipponretto’s aircraft fuel exploded, causing a chain reaction throughout the ship.
      …
Across the world, armed forces were targeted by these World Eaters. Russian, Ajakon, Sedrosian, British, American, they didn’t care. When a force resisted and was able to shoot down a World Eater. 15 hours after the crippling of the Ajakon Navy, government buildings across the world were targeted by them. Japan, Russia, Europe, and North America were attacked by Massive World Eaters. 2 days after the first contact, The Ajakon Confederation, despite its technological development and advancement, was the first to fall, with Akimoto killed by a massive explosion while trying to plea for help. 12 days later, the Soviet Federation fell, the Siberian Forest burned, the Ural mountains leveled, and Moscow a mere crater in the ground. The Amazon Forest and Southwestern Asian Forests were torched, sending thousands, even millions of tons of smoke into the sky. Across Orbis, natural disasters were caused unnaturally by these World Eaters, no nation was immune to them. After a year of this, the last superpower was brought to its knees, the British Empire. Finally, 7 years after the British fell, after fighting to the last person, with the World Eaters having to completely eradicate it, the last nation fell, Nukeya. Now it's up to the broken people of this world to live their last days, as the World Eaters begin to live up to their name. Corruption and smoke fill the air and a formerly familiar world is different. Much, much different.
(This will be UNCANON to the Orbis Main Roleplay and will be a Horror/Alternative Timeline story. Don’t expect me to make it often, as they WILL BE GORY. I will put a warning if there’s a major amount of it. This will follow the story of two or three people, I’m unsure how they will be made, but I know what the first story is about. Hopefully, you’ll like this. Welcome to Affirmed Extinction.)
