Still the Flag Flies: Declaration of War on Peru-Bolivia

In a blatantly obvious false-flag operation, Peru-Bolivia set the stage to declare war on the people of La Plata. While Peru-Bolivia's motive in this war is unclear, what is clear is that the people of La Plata have been threatened by an act of wanton aggression. The United Imperium will not stand for this act of aggression, and will honor its defense commitment with La Plata by declaring war. In honoring their own defense commitments with La Plata, five other nations have also joined the Imperium's coalition: Escharia, Sedrosia, Raritania, Zukesa, and Lunoria.

The Peru-Bolivians have a relatively large military. They have around 700,000 troops, 900 tanks, 250 ships, and 281 aircraft. In addition, the Ecuadorians are aiding the Peru-Bolivians in both combat efforts and diplomatic/economic efforts. In order to combat this, the International Coalition is sending the following forces:

The United Imperium will be sending 60,000 troops, 150 ships from the Northwest and Southwest Atlantic Fleets, and 1000 aircraft from the Homeland and South American Theater Commands.

Escharia will be sending 50,000 reservists, 100 main battle tanks, and 1000 personnel carriers. For their air and naval forces, they will be sending 30 patrol craft and 100 fighters.

Lunoria will be sending 12 attack helicopters for air support and two artillery battalions to be used as needed (total troops: 3000 (each battalion has about 1500 troops) and has stated that future shipments of units and arms could be made depending on coalition needs.

Sedrosia will send a marine infantry battalion and a marine mechinized battalion as well as a taskforce with a carrier, an amphibious assault ship, 28 helicopters, a cruiser, 3 destroyers, and 4 frigates and 90 planes as air wing. That makes the total Sedrosian troops about 2500. We have been informed that more Sedrosian ships will be sent after the formation of a beachhead.

Zukesa will be sending 3 fighter-bomber squadrons, MiG-27s only. In total, they will be sending 36 aircraft.

Finally, Beanstopia will be sending two miniforces: 2 battleships, 6 cruisers, and 10 small corvettes. In total, they will be sending 18 ships.

In total, the allied coalition will be sending around 120,000 troops, 208 ships, and 1266 aircraft, as well as an impressive assortment of other aircraft. The troops and ships will arrive in two weeks to a month, but the first aircraft are already launching air superiority missions, suppression of enemy air defences, electronic warfare, anti-radar/radiation strikes, and cyberattacks against the Peru-Bolivian front. The expectation is that through a numerical edge and technological superiority, Coalition forces will secure control of the skies quickly. 

The call of war has been sounded. The United Imperium and her allies have responded to the call. The defense of La Plata has begun. We will not cede a mile, and we will not cede an inch. For he who desires peace must prepare for war, so those who so desire war must be equally prepared.
