The Ajako Confederation declares War on Gran Colombia
Breaking News, after information came in that Gran Colombia has annexed an island chain called the Galapagos Islands, which was part of the South American SGP, which was a remnant of former JI rule over Peru and Ecuador, the Ajako Confederation (led by Aki Akimoto) has declared a War of Liberation and Destruction on Gran Colombia. The Ajako Confederation will support the SGPs of Nicaragua and Haiti in the war against Gran Colombia. The war will go until Gran Colombia agrees to the listed terms.
Naval Battles off Cartagena and The Galapagos (Operation Indispensable)
After Minesweepers from the Ajako Confederal North American Fleet cleared minefields, which was no small task, considering the number of mines that were disabled or exploded prematurely. After that, the joint Nicaraguan-Ajako-Haitian Naval Force bombarded the Colombian fleet with aircraft and railgun fire, none of the Combined Fleet ships of Ajako and the SGPs even sighted Colombian vessels. Two Ajako JI-400 class submarines did directly engage Colombian forces, sinking several government owned logistics ships. It must be known that any ship thats flagged Gran Colombian will be either sunk or seized by Ajako Fleet ships. The Ajako firces lost 27 aircraft
Off the Galapagos, the 2nd and 3rd Task Forces of the Pacific Fleet, commanded by ACUAC Fukushuu (renamed from Nipponretto) carefully destroyed Gran Colombian vessels around The Galapagos, along with bombarding Gran Colombian defenses in the Galapagos. Ajako naval vessels and aircraft have made a screening belt around The Galapagos to prevent any reinforcements to Gran Colombian forces
Army of Ajako Confederation landings in the Galapagos (Operation Grand Galapagos)
After the success of Operation Indispensable, the Army of Ajako had landed on and secured the Isabela Canton of the Galapagos, along with contesting the island of Santa Cruz. There is currently a battalion of armored forces (3k soldiers) and 2 battalions of mechanized forces (10k) from the 10th Corps of the AAC, and a Battalion of Nicaraguan Mechanized as well, from their 2nd Mechanized Division (5k). This is extremely close to the actual population of the Galapagos (approx 30k) and Joint Forces have been given orders to be careful with the unique ecology and be nice to the Galapagos citizens, who have supported the Ajako-SGP liberation effort against the Gran Colombians.
Nicaragua and Haiti prepare AA defenses and other defenses, Ajako Confederation shifts to War footing
The Nicaraguan and Haitian forces and governments have declared general mobilization and building of defenses on the border and coasts of Nicaragua and Haiti to deter any attacks from possible supporting nations of the Gran Colombians. The Ajako Confederation has shifted to a war stance to fix its economy which it had inherited from the now defunct Japanese Isles. A couple of the issues found with the old Japanese economy was that there was an overflow of money into the military and nuclear power sectors, which was redistributed accordingly to better areas where they are needed, most notably research into aircraft and medical technology.
