Story: Yakuza Split and Planning | Rise of Akimoto (pt 1)

       Edo, Honshu, Japanese Isles

   The Yakuza board had met, with the woman in command of them looking stressed. "Listen, you can't just order the preparations of a coup of our nation because the Prime Minister promised to cut down crime." She rubs her forehead, "Alright, Mr. Matsuda? Just be patient, we don't need to coup the government."

   "You might now, Mrs. Yamamoto, but the Yakuza way of life is threatened by Prime Minister Rokukawa and the National Diet. There's only one way to fix it, and it's now. The Diet must be toppled."

   "IT'S SUICIDAL, MATSUDA, DON'T YOU DARE, YOU HEAR M-" She had been shot in the chest by Matsuda. "Sweet dreams, Mrs Yamamoto, you won't be missed." 

   "huh?" She looks at her bleeding front, "i..." She slumped to the side. Her guards started shooting at Matsuda, but the room erupted into chaos as Matsuda's supporters started shooting too. When the dust cleared, there were 14 dead people in the room, including 3 Japanese SWAT members that came to stop the fighting. However, the Yakuza had split. The Aomori Faction, led by Matsuda, planned the coup of the Japanese Isles government, which was nearly oblivious to this, bumbling on, worrying itself about threats from the outside. 

         Hiroshima, Honshu, Japanese Isles

  Megumi Yamamoto woke up, heavily injured. The bullet had missed her vitals by an inch (2.54 cm), but she's confined to the hospital for multiple months. She decided to pretend to be asleep. The Yakuza protecting her were murmuring about how the Japanese Isles is in danger from it's own citizens. She fell back asleep, hoping she could work on it tomorrow.

        Naha, Okinawa, Japanese Isles

   My office was covered in drawings, National Diet Papers, and notes to myself. I stood up to grab a fax and read it. I nodded to myself. "Heh, that's one more thing to not worry about."  I can't believe the Yakuza split finally. I knew the Yakuza had supported the current JI government. So if I just let their thing happen, then come in as the 'savior' everything will be fine. heh. Maybe the world isn't ready for me, or my ideas. But I'm ready for the world.
