Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Ceresia

Preamble

In recognition of the longstanding historical ties and mutual interests between the former New Japanese Empire and the Kingdom of Ceresia, the representatives of both nations hereby enter into this Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation to renew their commitment to harmonious relations and collaborative endeavors.

Article 1: Sovereign Equality

The Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Ceresia reaffirm their respect for each other's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence. Both nations shall uphold the principles of non-interference in each other's internal affairs.

Article 2: Friendship and Cooperation

The Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Ceresia pledge to promote friendship and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including but not limited to cultural exchange, trade, technology, and education.

Article 3: Cultural Exchange

Both nations will actively encourage cultural exchange programs to foster mutual understanding and appreciation of each other's traditions, history, and way of life.

Article 4: Economic Cooperation

The Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Ceresia shall work together to enhance economic cooperation and facilitate trade, striving for mutual prosperity and development.

Article 5: Technological Collaboration

Recognizing the potential benefits of joint technological endeavors, the signatory parties shall seek opportunities for collaborative research, development, and innovation.

Article 6: Educational Partnerships

The Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Ceresia will encourage academic partnerships and student exchanges to strengthen educational opportunities and promote knowledge-sharing.

Article 7: Peace and Security

Both nations shall support regional and global peace efforts, striving to resolve disputes through peaceful means and supporting international law and order.

Article 8: Termination and Amendments

This Treaty shall remain in force indefinitely, and either party may propose amendments with mutual consent. In the event of termination, both parties shall ensure an amicable resolution to any pending matters.

Done in duplicate this 10th day of October, 2090, in the English and Japanese languages, both texts being equally authentic. This Treaty shall enter into force on the date of signature.
