After a period of relative peace in Luna — wars continued, and the nation went to war alongside their allies in Morningstar, but we did not sustain many major losses — we have been hit with our eighth nuclear weapon, this time in the city of Ariadne.
The nuclear weapon was extremely destructive, with casualties reported to be at least 100,000 despite the evacuation efforts.
However, unlike the past several times this has happened, we had the resources to repair the damage done, and we are pleased to say that Ariadne has been repaired almost completely, though the two drydocks destroyed by the attack have not been rebuilt yet (full repairs are soon to come).
Along with the news from Ariadne, we are sad to say that with our alliance going to war, we have lost a close ally.
When the war begun, Luna immediately stated our support for both our own alliance and Camelot due to the war between Morningstar and an ally of SoL, as well as our former allegiance with Castle Camelot. Free People of North America, a loyal member of SoL, expressed their disapproval to our stance, and has encouraged the use of nuclear weapons on our nation after our time spent as allies in the North American Defense Pact.
The government of Luna wishes that our friendly relations didn't have to end this way, but we are loyal to our alliance, and if that means the relations between Luna and F.P.N.A. must end, then so be it.

We don't have to be allies anymore, and I see that the war between our alliances may make it almost impossible to restart an alliance between our nations, but I think we can coexist without hostility, at least.
