The nation has been through many trials and hardships, but prevails through the power of the people and through Christ our Lord. The NRGR follows only the teachings of our savior. The NRGR has open borders and allows all immigrants. The NRGR also affirms the LGBTQ population, and accepts them as children of God. The languages of English and Spanish have merged into Spanglish, the majority language of the Republic, though English is still used for diplomatic and international affairs. This is the flag of the Nuevo Rio Grande Republica. The blue represents the Rio Grande that runs through the heart of the Republic. The four stars represent the states of Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, and Tejas. The white represents peace, the red represents blood, and the black represents the unknown future of the nation. The chi-rho represents the majority Catholic population that unites and inspires the nation.
