The Great Empire has fallen. New tribes have populated the ancient lands; raids and invasions threaten every village; peace is a short-lived luxury. From the ashes that covered the isle of Thera, a new power has risen: the Holy Kingdom of Trezibond.

Out of the patchwork of petty liege-lords and feudal governances, one great leader has emerged, wielding power and influence over all of his subjects. His word is law, and soon his might will extend to every corner of the earth. The ancients said that no man could ever rival the power of the Great Emperor of old, but this new leader will, one day, regain dominion over the lands of his fathers, and revive the Great Empire.
