History:

The 12th of January 2025, coalition of socialist, communist and social democrats declared independence from the main state, which was a capitalist state that exploited the people and the environment.
The war for independence was hard, but with the help of other far left countries and some soldiers helping the socialist cause, Milan was taken and the main state asked for peace, leading to its collapse.

The capital of the state is Milan, now called Democratia, filled with monuments to honor those who fought for freedom.

Every now and then, the Union welcomed some parts of the main state  that want to leave the capitalist distopia to join the communist utopia.

In July 2025, the Social Democratic change the flag and the name to proclaim the next step to freedom, which is the transition from social democracy to socialism.

The union is now working hard to transition to a communist utopia, an utopia without currency and exploitation

On the 25th of January the nation joined the USSR, where it stayed for 184 days before the USSR merged with The Apothecary, an alliance that merged with the cali cartel on the 14 of august 2025

In January 26 Venice and part of Veneto joined the federation, marking a point in the freedom of the Po valley people

State Organization:

The state is a direct socialist democracy where the people vote every 4 years, when the general secretary is elected, he has 2 years to keep the approval rating above 50%.

If the approval rating is under 50% there will be another election, If it's above the general secretary can end his term for another 2 years ( in total is 4 years of power if the population approves the secretary)

To secure a fair election, there's a Quorum, 50% + 1 of the population has to vote for the election to be valid.
