The First Order's philosophy and military structure closely mirrored the Galactic Empire, reflecting a desire to return to the days of Imperial dominance.

History: The First Order is a military faction that emerged from the remnants of the Galactic Empire following its defeat at the Battle of Endor, secretly plotting to regain power in the galaxy by building up forces on the unkown planet of Orbis, one day hoping to destroy the New Republic under the leadership of Supreme Leader Snoke and Kylo Ren; essentially acting as a successor to the Empire, utilizing similar tactics and military technology while aiming to destroy the New Republic and establish a new galactic order under their control.
