From its earliest records, Linguistia has never known peace. It did not evolve into an authoritarian state, rather it was hardened into one, slowly, layer by layer, as the people were burned, invaded, shattered, and rebuilt across years. Each time, the scars deepened.
The descent into the Hollow, caused by the Nuclear wasteland above, was an instant process. This underground world was not a haven. It was a tomb. The light was false, the air stale, the food synthetic. But for the people of Linguistia, it was enough. From desperation rose the First Miracle, and with it, the true founding of Linguistia, not a nation anymore, but an ideology.
Bioluminescent fungi were cultivated for light. Air was filtered through machines powered by geothermal veins. The land was hostile and unfamiliar, but the Council held firm in the belief that only a unified tongue and a unified ideology would bring order.
The people of Linguistia do not dream of peace. They have been raised without a concept of it. Peace is viewed as anomalous and inherently unstable, something that invites decadence, fragmentation, and vulnerability. Its people do not ask for peace, they ask only to remain intact, not to shatter again.
What is longed for, instead, is Continuity, to keep moving, to keep the machines running, the lines producing, the drills turning in the mineral guts of the earth.

Linguistia lies deep beneath the surface of a shattered continent, within a colossal geological structure known to its people as "Der Wombvault" a term both biological and industrial, pressure, and containment. The terrain is not a single cavern, but a stratified underworld with layers upon layers of mined-out chambers, tectonic hollows, magma-choked tunnels, and fossilized ruins.
Linguistia’s surface, though rarely accessed, is a deadland of ash, frozen dunes, and metal husks. The few remaining access tunnels are heavily fortified and are restricted zones. The underground itself is scarred by ore-harvesting, collapsed drill networks, and collapsed worker cities, now used as silent training grounds.
There is no natural wind. Instead, forced airflow circulates through massive turbine tunnels and air-processing reactors that simulate pressure changes and manage oxygen levels. Due to this, Linguistia is a massive polluter and contributor to Global Warming, much to the dismay of surrounding nations. |

Choral Season — Bright artificial sunlamps, synchronized recitations, and public works.
Solemn Season —Commemoration of past wars; cold, silent, and smoky.
Dead Season — Maintanence of equipment vital to survival, cold.
These seasons serve psychological purposes, not ecological. |
