The first several generations of settlers spoke Korean, but the close proximity to Russia, in the 1500s~1600s the Ambusian people started to mix the two together creating Ambulsa. As time went on the Korean origins has faded even more. As of 2094 the Korean influence only remains in the Ambusin accent. Also idk either so spellings/meanings of words in either language so I just make up the words and what they mean)

In the mid 1200s a ship containing 134 men and women from an East Asian nation were attempting to sail for a new home. However, they were caught in a storm that dragged their ship far off course. After days without seeing land, and the cold slowly getting to the men and women aboard something caught the captain’s eye. LAND! Upon reaching the shore everyone cheered, and dubbed the new land Ambusin. After hundreds of years of peace and prosperity in 1991 a super blizzard hit Ambusin extremely hard. Some say almost half of the population died in the cold. The, at the time, ruler Queen Mimi Pachloski went missing along with much of the government. After weeks of total anarchy on the archipelago three organized groups formed to attempt to take control of the islands. the Ambusin National Army (ANA , a primarily socialist organization who was attempting to dismantle the monarchy, Royal Army of Ambusin (RAA), a group that mostly consisted of former Imperial Armed Forces of Ambusin troops and other loyalists whom were trying to reinstate a monarch, and the anarchist, a shockingly large group of people who’s goal was to destroy the government completely though they lacked skill and arms to be anything other than a small army. These three groups fought each for territory for 7 months. Though not much land was gained for any side. Most of the fighting took place in the villages and cities in the central section of the mainland. Eventually RAA conducted a successful operation to take back the southern part of main island, wiping out ANA in the process. With the biggest threat to the crown gone the people loyal to the crown celebrated. The date 9/14/1992 and RAA was mostly victorious. Throughout the following months efforts to rebuild were underway, and on 2/3/1993 King Lucas Pachloski was crowned. RAA became the Royal Ambusin Ground Corps (RAGC), as well as the founding of the Royal Ambusin Air Corps (RAAC), and the Royal Ambusin Naval Corps (RANC). In the year 2068 King Pachloski died at the age of 94 years old. Following his death a number of kings were crowned then died of old age until 2087. Following the death of King Lois Solkov, Ryditoes Salamar was crowned king at the age of 19 years old. He has led the country since. Glory To Ambusin!

There is a permafrost that varies from 1.2-1.4 feet deep across the archipelago. Most of the inland areas consist of mountains with permanent snow caps, and large hills.

The biggest industry in Ambusin is the fishing industry. It generates 28% of the country’s GDP, though the combined mining industry comes rather close with a 27% part of the GDP. The primary mining export is Iron. Though Ambusin’s premier resource is the Black Iron that has only been found deep in the caves under Ambusin. It has a very similar chemical formula to iron, but it is somehow lighter and more durable than standard iron. Black Iron is used to construct the ships and tanks of the Ambusian military, and has been extremely regulated when it comes to export.
