New Argentina was originally a province in Argentina called Tierra del Fuego. This province was under the control of Francisco, who sought to colonise Antarctica. In secret, Francisco built up an army, planning a military coup that would take over Argentina. This coup backfired and turned into a long 14 year conflict, with Francisco promising to restore Argentina to its once former glory. After ten years of gruelling war, Francisco‘s forces were pushed back to Tierra del Fuego, and he renamed this land New Argentina. New Argentina’s army was spent, and with no hope of victory, Francisco turned to the Antarctic alliance, they supplied New Argentina’s military with new munitions. This allowed Francisco to fight back once again and gave new hope to his army. After another four years of conflict, New Argentina accepted a peace deal with Argentina, thus New Argentina was internationally recognised as a country and officially joined the Antarctic Alliance.

After a few years of planning, the first mission to Antarctica was launched. With assistance from the nation of Plumbago and their advanced icebreaker ships, the New Argentinian fleet, arrived in Antarctica and established the first colony, ‘Iceburgia’. Francisco promised the people there would be no military presence here, but broke this promise after days.
