N.R.O.M is said to be a republic but is ruled under King Karusa; the founder of the new nation, in a Monarchal government. Karusa has vowed to take full responsibility for Macedonia rather than trusting a randomly elected individual and their party to run the country, Karusa has promised to maintain a Republic structure by keeping the country a public matter and not one of a private concern. History: Macedonians in N.R.O.M are direct descendants of the Ancient Macedonians who resided in Aegean Macedonia, a region of Macedonia connected to the Aegean sea. Ancient Macedonia, or Macedon, became a wealthy state through livestock trading and did not employ slave labour, unlike Hellas. Macedon spoke and wrote in Ancient Macedonian which looked similar to the Hellenic script many city states in Greece used. However for centuries, they were considered barbarians for not speaking Hellenic/Ancient Greek, and were never allowed to compete in the Hellenic Olympics due to not possessing Greek blood or sharing any Greek identity. Macedon quickly grew in power around 400 - 300 BCE under the rule of great kings including King Philip II of Macedon, and Alexander The Great. (Alexander III of Macedon). The Ancient Macedonians spread the Mediterranean lifestyle as well as Macedonian culture to all lands they annexed under the Macedonian flag, due to that specific lifestyle offering the greatest quality of life, shared by a plethora of civilizations in the Mediterranean region, including Macedon and Hellas (Greece). Once Alexander fell and Macedonia split apart, Macedonians all over Europe and some parts of Asia were blacked out from history due to Hellas' annexation of Macedonia's history, effectively rewriting Macedonian history, as 'History is written by the victors.' Eventually, slavic tribes migrated to Aegean Macedonia, creating a mixed society of Slavs and Macedonians. The Slavs and Macedonians formed a unified Macedonia plagued by external issues, most notably the 1913 Macedonian struggle, in which the Greek army invaded and killed 15,000 Macedonians in attempt to eradicate all Macedonian identity within the region. Bulgarians entered Aegean Macedonia in order to defend the region to claim the land and the Macedonian identity as their own. Greece ended up taking all of Aegean Macedonia, as Bulgaria took their chunk as well as Albania and Serbia taking a portion as well. Macedonian oppression and execution continued until 1944, when Yugoslavia merged the People's Republic of Macedonia into Yugoslavia once Tito won support over the Macedonians after promising to protect their identity. In 1991, Macedonia gained independence from Yugoslavia, becoming a sovereign state yet again. The newly formed FYROM was quickly harrassed by Greece to change their flag as Greece was unhappy with Macedonia's decision to use Macedon's ancient flag in the modern day. In 2001, Albania invaded FYROM militarily which resulted in an Albanian defeat and disarm, and further rights for Albanians in Macedonia. Later, Greece slammed FYROM once more to change their name to North Macedonia. Under SDS law, the name was changed and Macedonian rights plummeted which resulted in a violent uprising. The uprising eventually overpowered the SDS parliament resulting in the formation of N.R.O.M, a new sovereign state dedicated to creating a fair, and peaceful Macedonia for all Macedonians.

Military
History: The NROM Military was established not even a day after New Republic of Macedonia gained independence. Macedonians and King Karusa himself feared a North Macedonian retaliation and invasion so a force of 500 conscripts were pulled in to maintain the small borders at the time. Not even a week into independence, NROM armed forces surpassed that of North Macedonia in terms of size, including a larger air force and larger army, which successfully thwarted all plans of a North Macedonian invasion. With this success, conscription was abolished and the Military of NROM became purely voluntary with a 12 month mandatory service at 18 years of age. Interest in the military spiked after the army controlled riots and insurgencies during martial law as a result of radiation with great efficiency, inspiring many young men and women to join, boosting the force to over 30,000 soldiers at the time. Macedonia now has a large defence arsenal and is a fully functioning defence force.
