We are no mere aggressors, but a steadfast protector of our lands and our people. No foe shall dare breach our shores, for they shall face the full might of our glorious armed forces. We take great pride in our strong alliances and unbreakable bonds with our allies, for together we stand as an indomitable force that none can hope to oppose.

Our magnificent nation is a testament to the might and ingenuity of our people, containing many great cities and small villages alike, each thriving and bustling with the energy of our proud citizens. Our cold climate is a testament to our strength and adaptability, for our soldiers and our people stand firm against the harshest of elements, unyielding and resolute in the face of any challenge.

The North Sea Empire, (Officially Kingdom of the North Sea Empire) is a sovereign nation situated on the continent of Europe, under the leadership of King James I. Governed as an Absolute Monarchy, the kingdom adheres to conservative social policies while having moderate economic principles. The official currency used within the realm is the Nordic Mark (₦).

During the early Viking period around 800 AD, King Ewan I convened the historic "Gathering of the Fjords" in 822 AD, uniting chieftains and leaders across the North Sea region under the banner of the North Sea Empire. Through strategic diplomacy, alliances were formed, borders expanded, and a realm of prosperity and cultural exchange was fostered.

Since the turn of the century, Prime Minister Harwolf Kahan initiated comprehensive reforms aimed at revitalizing the empire after years of neglect and limited global engagement. These reforms addressed various sectors, including infrastructure, education, and economic policies, ushering in a new era of prosperity and modernization. One significant milestone was the implementation of the "Nordic Integration Act," fostering closer cooperation and cultural exchange among the diverse regions of the empire. 

Additionally, Prime Minister Harwolf brokered the historic Treaty of Concordia with the leaders of the North Sea Civil Conflicts, effectively ending years of internal strife and paving the way for national unity. Following the coronation of King Lucifer II, the empire underwent a transformative period, marked by the establishment of the House of Austrisians and ambitious territorial expansions into neighboring realms. However, the sudden demise of King Lucifer II plunged the empire into turmoil, culminating in a succession crisis and internal discord. King James I ascended to the throne, heralding a new era of stability and governance, characterized by a commitment to uphold the rule of law and democratic principles.

The North Sea Empire is a constitutional monarchy, comprising four states and numerous other protectorates. The Empire's population of nearly 33 million, mostly live within the Scottish, Danish and Southern Norwegian regions, the remainder scattered around the other states. Valismo is the nation's capital and is heavily urbanized, the product of large-scale investments. The Empire's abundant natural resources allow for a mostly export-focused economy, with steel being the most exported good. The Empire has well-developed international trade relations which are crucial to the country's economy, which generates its income from various sources including services, banking, manufacturing and mineral extraction. The North Sea Empire ranks 'Acceptable' for quality of life, health, education, economic freedom, civil liberties and political rights.

The NSE has a highly developed market economy and is a regional power, backed by its large-scale military. It is a member of international groups including the Global Alliance & Treaty Organization. The nation has retained its neutral foreign policy and continues to do so.
