WELCOME TO THE SOCIALIST PEOPLE’S ROYAL REPUBLIC OF BANDOVIA. After the fall of the former Soviet Union, it’s colony “Medved' Sil'nyy” in Northern Siberia survived; and with that, the SPRRB was created. The leader of the colony, Governor Octavius I declared himself emperor and the Socialist (not soviet)  era continued. Now, with a few tweaks, citizens of The Socialist People’s Royal Republic of Bandovia are now well and thriving with their great military and equal economy.

History: On the front Page of the nation is a map of where a large majority of around 96% the original settlers of the Medved' Sil'nyy colony originated from before soviet troops occupied and annexed the colony in late summer of 1926. They are commonly mistaken to be of Italian descent but in reality they come from the three modern day regions of Italy known as Valle D’Aosta, Piemonte, and a large portion of Liguria Tuscany. They are of Bændøv decent which is where the current country gets its modern day name from of Bandovia; or home of the Bandov‘s. The Bændøv people have been living in the region sense before the time of the Roman Empire with first recorded accounts of settlement within the region being around 1783 BC. The Bændøv people have in history have strictly been peaceful and loving people welcoming traveling Roman’s into their homes During World War’s One and Two as well as all other major conflicts within the region they took a neutral stand and have been neutral in conflict for more than 2,000 years longer than Switzerland. Unfortunately in around 1816 AD around 200,000 of the Bændøv Population of the total 1.3 million Bændøvs had to flee the region due to religious persecution from the predominantly Roman catholic Italy. around 178,000 of the 200,000 that fled followed a trail that over around 4 years led the group to what we know as today the lands in which the modern day country of Bandovia sits within. The Bændøv’s now make up an estimated 71.6% of the ethnic population the the Socialist People’s Royal Republic of Bandovia with the other 28.4% mainly being formed of Russian Ethnicities from the almost 70 year period in which the Bændøv people were under the control of the Soviet Union.
