History: The Imperial Djonian Republic (or Djonia/Djonian Empire) was founded on the 12th of October, 2021 by now Emperor Jones I. Once an American citizen who left out of frustration with the political instabilities brought about by news networks reporting opinions instead of facts, and the constant stalemates in congress, he landed upon the Keeling Islands and became an Australian citizen. He rose to local governance on the small island and after rapidly building up the isles declared independence, avoiding armed conflict by bribing members of the Australian parliament.
