The rise of a new kingdom. As of 2023 the Patagonia region covering Chile and Argentina has become an independant nation. The people of this region had long resented their governments for their socialist ideals and inability to resolve the economic decline that has long plagued both nations. In the recent months an unnamed revolutionary group had reached out to a highly militarized corporation operating in the wastes of Antarctica. The CEO of the Iceberg Corporation who has now come out publicly with his name had agreed to organize a revolution within the region but with a price of course. In exchange for their independance as well as the Iceberg Corporation's military support CEO Ryan Amos would be allowed to govern this new nation how he saw fit. In the days leading up to the revolution all of CEO Amos's forces had mobilized to the region and quickly gathered outside Chile and Argentina's borders. With a vast array of mercenaries, and privately owned assets Ryan Amos had quickly gained the favor of local militia's, police forces, as well as local detatchments from the Chilean and Argentinian armies. The goal was simple. Advance into Santiago and Buenos Aires, and capture the presidents of their respective country. In exchange for their release the entire Patagonia region was to be given full autonomy. Both presidents knowing of the Iceberg Corporations involvement in recent wars as well as it's affiliation with The Immortals they quickly accepted this deal. After Patagonia was declared as an independant nation CEO Ryan Amos had given safe passage to former government bodies in the region and escorted them back to their homeland. Those who had deserted from the Chilean and Argentinian militaries were rewarded with the opportunity to become part of Patagonia's new military. As a result of this Ryan Amos had cut ties with most contracters who had aided him in the revolution. Before Patagonia's official government was established Ryan Amos had began to dismantle his company. All of his shares had been sold, any mobile assets were shipped to Patagonia and any immobile assets were either demolished or sold to the United States. Now crowning himself King, Ryan Amos had estsblished a constitutional monarchy widely based on his Irish heritage. With absolute power and no bureaucratic system, progress and growth could be made with no hinderance or government infighting. Within just a few months Patagonia had become an economic powerhouse. Unemployment is down to .2%, the annual rate of crimes is down to .05%, and the average income for Patagonias citizens is 70k Pounds per year. With this newfound thriving kingdom many immigrants from Chile and Argentina had settled in Patagonia to seek new prospects with great success. In addition to this, Patagonia's system and ideals had caused many immigrants from Ireland, and the UK to become Patagonian citizens out of pride for the King. Now with his name public, his own thriving nation established, King Amos continues to lead Patagonia's growth, and progress with little hinderance and little interference from the bordering countries.
