History: The earliest traces of a nation related to Midore go back to the 6th century before our era. At the time, the people living there were mostly organised in tribes, and didn't expand much into neighbours. Traditional Emban comes from this period, as the influence of Greek merchants in the south brought the alphabet, which was adapted to the local language.
In -44, a coalition comprising these tribes was defeated by Julius Caesar, causing their annexion into the Roman Empire; Caesar will be killed later that year after some of the richest citizens of the defunct coalition bribed one of his relatives.
In 260, the former Gaul territory broke free from the Roman Empire as the Gallic Empire: the first idea of a nation for every Gaul tribe was born.
Two centuries later, with the fall of the Western Roman Empire, the Gallic Empire returned as one of its remnants to bring stability in the area, but was quickly torn apart by incoming Germanic tribes such as the Franks, and the Gallic Empire was quickly divided between many warlords. One of those realms was named Anderia (country of the Indre), and its capital is now known as Vēronēsia.
This small country imposed itself as an economic and diplomatic power over the next centuries, quickly expanding along the Loire; it was eventually renamed to Ligeria, the country of the Loire. the creation of Midore dates from the early 11th century, when the heir of the family ruling the Arvègne kingdom, married Ligeria's heir and united their countries under the name Midore, in reference to its green countryside (from the Gallo-Midorel "mji" ("land", but nowadays "green"), "dor": ("leaf", but nowadays a suffix meaning "country of")).
Midore reached its current borders in the late 19th century, when it united all the Gaul tribes under its banner, from the Pyrenees to the Rhine, from Armorica to the Apennines.
